PetFusion Replacement Cover for Ultimate Dog Lounge (X-Large, Slate Gray)

Completely removable cover, bolster & bed make it super easy to wash. The silky liners make putting the bed back together extremely easy, and being able to order extra covers to use while washing one is great. Wish I had found these beds a long time ago! Gave the durability 4 stars only because I just received and have not had long enough to know exactly how well they will hold up, but I'm thinking they will last a long time. Good heavy material. Bottom material not quite as sturdy. Time will tell.

Our son has two English Bulldogs. Honey is five years old and Buddy is four. Honey weighs about 43 pounds and Buddy is about 63 pounds. They both have been sleeping in my son’s bed along with his new wife. The dogs took up a lot of space and always wanted to be in touch with their humans. Knowing that Bullies need good support for their bodies I did a lot of research on orthopedic dog beds and found your beds. They are designed beautifully and are well manufactured. The dogs absolutely love their new beds. At night they sleep in their new beds atthe foot of the human bed and they nap during the day on their beds in the living room. This was the best gift we ever got them. My wife and I just got a bulldog puppy and will buy him one when he is older.

A month or so after we bought the PetFusion bed, our youngest dog decided the corner of the cover looked tasty and had a little nibble. She only ripped the front edge of the cover and luckily stopped before she got to the actual bed itself. I was worried that if she tried again and go to the filling that she would completely destroy the bed. I kept an old comforter over the bed for months until she grew out of the "nibble all the things stage" that every puppy goes through. So happy to finally be able to replace the cover!It fits exactly as the one that came on the bed. Washes well, easier to put on with two people. Wish it wasn't so expensive, but other than outright chewing on it, it is pretty sturdy. Water will bead when it first lands on the bed, but it isn't water proof. It doesn't hold odor the way that the Big Barker does, probably because of the cover material.

These beds are absolutely wonderful! I have 2 of them. The covers are easy to remove/wash/replace. The Zippers are very sturdy and glide easily. My dogs LOVE the bolster and they sleep in these beds every night. Well constructed and very nice looking in the room, too. They don't flatten down at all.Originally bought a large in the grey (brown was not available at the time) and recently purchased a large in the brown. Ordered a replacement cover in the brown so they now match, and I have a spare cover should anything happen to a brown one. I have 2 spaniels, one is about 35 lbs and the other is about 50 lbs, and the large is a great size for both. They did share the original one sometimes, so it is plenty big, but they can also stretch out. Love them and would recommend them to any dog owner. You will not be disappointed!

We have a Friends Forever bed, and the cover lasted for about 2 years, with a couple of repairs, since my dog must nest and digging is part of the ritual. It’s impossible to find a replacement cover for the Friend’s Forever bed, which is like a $130 bed and the padding/stuffing is still in great condition. This Pet Fusion bed cover works with the Friends Forever bedding. The top part is a little loose, but for $40, we’ve got no complaints. The Friend’s Forever bed had a microfiber fabric and this one is more of a canvas, so it’s not as soft, but it seems like it will be more durable and my dog doesn’t seem to care.With Tilion’s bed out of service, he’s not been particularly happy with his substitute bed and as soon as I put the new cover on and tossed it on the floor, he jumped right into it. Then he got up and gave me a thank you lick and then flopped back down in his bed and is currently snoozing happily.

I bought my first PetFusion bed back in 2014 or 2015. My dogs LOVE this bed!! The nearly 360 degree bolster is what does it. My greyhound loves to get his head and butt all tucked in. I purchased replacement covers only so I had another set on hand for when I wash the covers (that way I don't have to feel rushed to get the covers washed and put back on the beds so my dogs can use them again). The original covers have held up very nice. My dogs are not bed chewers although my greyhound does sometimes try to "fluff" the bed which means there's some digging action going on. Only 1 of the original 3 covers has developed a tear...and that tear is on the seam so I think I can fix it with my sewing machine. I had 3 complaints with the original covers: 1) I wish the material was heavier just because we are talking about use by dogs and not humans; 2) I thought the zippers were too small; and, 3) I wish the opening for the bed portion was slightly larger to make inserting the bed easier. Well, PetFusion must have read my mind because ALL of those things are now incorporated into the replacement covers I purchased. The material is a much heavier twill which I think will hold up better overall and especially for a "bed fluffer." It's still not going to prevent a chewer from chewing a hole (you need a different bed for chewers). The zipper is MUCH heavier which will also allow it to hold up to wear and tear better. My only complaint with the zipper is it does not have a smooth action to it. I found it catching as I zipped it. I'm partial to YKK zippers and this one is not YKK. Both replacement covers had this problem. It's minor (so far) but it is the only reason why I gave the cover a 4 star vs a 5 star review. Last, the opening to insert the bed is now slightly wider, which makes inserting the bed MUCH easier than before. My recommendations for future updates: 1) take a look at the zipper quality; and, 2) consider making a cover that will hold up to chewers. Honestly, this is the best dog bed I've purchased! I'm truly impressed with the quality and the value is incredible. I've spent over $150 for beds for larger dogs and none have held up like the PetFusions.
