Class Act #2 (Jada Jones)

I read this book at the beginning of the year to my 4th graders, right before we voted for our own class representative! It was as if the author was in our classroom and our school. Her book was positive, a great example of problem-solving, was a great talking point for the same challenges and concerns my students face. I LOVE the Jada Jones books! Keep them coming! Bonus - these books are excellent for readers of various levels in grades 2nd-5th!

My 8 year old, whose coming to terms with having to read chapter books really enjoyed the Jada Jones series. I loved seeing my daughter engaged and reading about a character who looks like her. Hat's off to authors who believe in inclusivity!

love this series

I bought this as chapter book mentor text. The writing was clean and every word purposeful. The illustrations were wonderful. It is always good to see books with young black protagonists. Jada's personality shined throughout the book. I am a fan!
