Nature's Gate Aloe Vera Conditioner, 18 oz

I like most of Natures Gate products since all the ingredients are natural and safe to use without the harsh effect of sulfates and phthalates. The Aloe Vera conditioner really helps to restore moisture in my kinky/curly African American hair. I have really dry hair and live in a very dry climate (NV), so any conditioner that hydrates my hair is a must. I like that it smells good without being overwhelming and that it calmly cleanses my hair. It also lathers up nicely, although not as much as traditional conditioners containing sulfates. A little bit (quarter size or more depending on hair length/texture) goes a long ways and it lasts for a long time (one 18 oz bottle lasts me about 2 months). I use it as a "co-wash" 1-2x a week (I wet my hair with water every time I shower to keep it hydrated in-between "co-washes"). I highly recommend this product to anyone who has very dry hair and who needs a good natural conditioner at an affordable price.

I bought this for my husband and 7 yr old son. (They both use nature's gate tea tree shampoo. but my son was still having a few flakes on his scalp) After using this about 3 times, he now has NO flakes! It is great, I have tried other products and they didn't seem to work (and he tried the head and shoulders conditioner too, and it didn't work either). I am glad to have found this conditioner, a safer option than many, and it really does work! I did add a pump type attachment so that he would know how much to use as well. Smells great :)

I have the curliest hair you could imagine. I have t put a comb through my hair my entire life. Whenever I tried it would break in my hair. This stuff is THICK! So naturally I've spent a hefty fortune on hair products to tame my beautiful beast. Nothing has worked as marvelously as nature's gate. It makes my hair feel so soft and I actually put hated a comb for when I condition my hair ( every day). I'm terrified that since I cannot find it in stores I will lose it one day. So I stock up... When I need one, I order two. And by the way.... Since I condition every day, you could imagine how long conditioner lasts me. ( a week and a half maximum.) but with nature's gate I don't need to empty out the bottle on my head to be able to comb out all the knots. I finally understood the saying "put a dime size amount of product on your hands". I used to hate that saying, but nature's gate really means it!!! And my hair isn't short either. My hair stops at my hips. So all I have left to say is try it. You won't be disappointed.

I was disappointed in the delivery time but I'm guessing something unusual happened. Finally got the Nature's Gate conditioner and it smoothed my itchy scalp on the first use! Also has macademia nut oil in addition to the Aloe Vera. Nice pump handle and has a fresh scent. I will recommend this to friends.

I liked it at first, but then decided that it was drying out my scalp and hair and had to discontinue use after half the bottle. After my pregnancy, my hair changed texture and continued to fall out longer than it should have. After almost a year of stressing about it, I decided that I would branch out and try some different shampoo/conditioner options. I would not purchase again.

See my review about the shampoo. Combined, my hair feels softer, soothes irritated scalps (which was why I got this product). I'm sticking with this brand.

Not too bad a price for 18oz of natural conditioner, only thing is I'm not keen on the smell, it reminds me of chemical toilets. I would buy Natures Gate again but in a different flavor.

I wasn’t sure how my hair would respond to this conditioner but as an African American with 4b/4c high porosity hair. & know my hair really takes well to aloe Vera based products. This conditioner is thick. Once I rinsed out the conditioner and blow dried my hair. It has so much body and movement! Just with blowdrying!! It was awesome! Would recommend. I hope this product is always available

It's the second time I buy this conditioner and I just love it! My hair is long and very fine so sometimes it takes longer to untangle but I just love the smell and the feel of my hair after using it!! It's one of the very few organic conditioners that actually works on my hair!

Smells bubble gum. Not good in dry hair

I liked this conditioner, it smells really good, works effectively, and has less toxic ingredients than most hair care products. Good value, decent moisturizing qualities. My hair wasn't super frizzy as it sometimes is after using crappy conditioner. Would recommend.
