Ring Automotive Dash Cam with GPS

I bought this to replace a Motorola dash cam, which had lots of issues, and I was very impressed by this dash cam, it has GPS and all the other features like parking, recording sound, locking recordings etc, and it works, no problems with the class 10 SD card, installation of the camera cable and camera was all very simple, I would say this gives excellent value for money, and by a well known brand, I would definitely recommend this dash cam.

A nice tidy camera which is what I wanted. Almost hidden behind the interior mirror so not distracting. Good quality video and easy to use.

Easy to install Happy with quality

This product offers good value for money. It supports micro SD cards up to 32GB. I believe the resolution and night vision are satisfactory. However, the built-in battery isn't sufficient; it drains quickly. The lack of a Type-C port is a disadvantage. Another disadvantage is the absence of a USB output in the cigarette lighter power adapter. The mounting system to the glass seems adequate. Since I haven't tested it in a vehicle, I'm unsure if there's any vibration in the footage.

When this is working, it is a nice dash cam with quite good pictures, and good value. However, it was only 2 months before the dash cam failed to connect to the charger and so would not work, similar reliability reported elsewhere. In its last few days, not every recorded video could be opened by my computer... I have bought another one just in case that was an individual fault as against general unreliability...

This dashcam was good while it lasted but stopped working after four weeks of use. Like others have said, the battery will not charge and therefore the dashcam won't turn on. Very disappointing. I've been told I will get a refund if I send it back through Royal Mail which is a hassle.

A great product for the money! But if I had purchased it at the RRP I would have liked it to have WiFi installed,so I could have viewed the playback on my phone via Ring app😁 after several runs in the car, I reviewed the videos on my laptop, and found that the camera neaded adjusted! This can be easily done as it gives you loads of adjustments, like white balance, fine, cloudy, ect. After another run and I was very happy with the quality of playback! The before and after adjusting was l, on pause you could not read the number plates on the other side of the road, but after they were very clear!

Good video quality a decent dashcam for the price. But I had to return it because I needed gps with more information which this dashcam didn't have. But if you want a dashcam just for video record of your journey & just coordinates display on screen it would be value for money.
