Works great when used properly. The anvil works great on everything from woody saplings and branches to dry fibrous stuff like dead bamboo. The ratchet actually changes the force needed to adjust to the material. I have "old" hands that love the way they work. Other ratchets don't really do that. Just listen for the "click".

What can you say about Gardening Shears, and Pruning Scissors. They work and are sharp. The handles are a pretty light blue. When I'm done it's easy to clean just wipe them off. the safety latch works well. The grip is comfortable to use even when my hands a little stiff. They will be good for at least a couple of grading seasons. They appear to be rust resistance. Maybe not if you leave them out during the rainy season

Great product for cutting a variety of branches or stems. Good grip and has a locking mechanism when not in use.It’s a solid, heavy and quality product.Would buy again!

Powerful cut very thick less effort. After the first cut, repeat pressing the handle at the open position to continue cutting, this cutter can cut any size. Tried 1.5 inches and very good.

These are for arthritic hands, but the locking mechanism is too difficult to open and close. I have to have help. They do cut well.
