Perfect tool kit for cars
As a longtime car enthusiast with a garage full of scattered tools from years of projects, this Craftsman kit is exactly what I needed. I didn’t want to pull apart my main toolbox every time I hit the road, and this set is perfect to toss in the trunk of any classic car for peace of mind. It has everything I would need for American, Euro and Japanese cars.It covers pretty much everything you’d need for roadside repairs, with just enough extra space to add your own essentials like electrical tape or vice grips. The tools themselves feel solid, well-made, and comfortable in hand. A great value and a smart addition to any car lover’s collection as either a starting point or a well-organized kit to keep in the trunk.

Can't Beat the Price or Warranty
This a great set, especially for the price. I got the 230 piece for half price. The case fits easily with the other Craftsman Verastack containers. The ratchets are slimmer as described and feel good in the hand. However, what is an already good set could be better. First, the drawers slide but are not on rollers like other Verastack containers. Rollers would be nice. Second, the drawers are not interchangeable, meaning you cannot rearrange them top to bottom. I would prefer to put the 3/8 on top since I use that size the most. Third, the casing is OK, but it would have been nice if they figured out a way for you to maximize the space. The drawers use built in plastic pegs, etc. and there is a ton of dead space between everything. I would prefer this to have been made so we can rearrange the tools in the drawers to maximize the space--perhaps removable foam. Finally, the regular wrenches are not very good. They are smooth and look nice, but they suffer from a massive crab claw on the open end and the box end is bigger when compared to old-school USA-made 12 pt raised panel wrenches and even the relatively newer China-made 6 pt raised panel wrenches. I have uploaded a photo so you can see. In both photos, the wrench from this set is on the left, the Chinese made 6 pt raised panel wrench is in the center, and the O.G. USA-made raised panel wrench is on the right. That said, this was a a very good deal for the price. If you are looking for non-professional use tools or are a professional on a budget, these are a good buy. I have been working on cars for 30 years--including major repairs--and have used nothing but budget brands and unbranded stuff. Craftsman are literally some of the "nicest" tools I own, and guess what, the cars get fixed just the same but for A LOT less money in tools. Also, you also cannot beat the Craftsman warranty. I have literally taken cracked 50-year old Craftsman sockets to Ace and Lowes and got a replacement with no questions asked just the way Sears once did it.

Good bang for your buck
Very nice box that it comes in, it’s not very big so you can fit it nicely anywhere. I haven’t used this brand prior but I see that it holds its own against most jobs, very durable, feels nice in my hands and functions nicely like it’s supposed to.

Great basic toolset.
Bought this for my son's 20th birthday. Everyone needs a set of tools like this. It'll last him the rest of his life and what be sufficient for 99% of the projects he has to do. Plan on getting another Versa Stack case to lock on top for a hammer, saw, duct tape, and a pair of pliers for the other 1%. I really like that. Everything has its place in here. However, I do wish they would have designed it to be a little more efficient with the use of space. All of the drawers have plenty of room where they could have left some empty space for things like pliers, a roll of electrical tape, or something like that.

This is A Good starter tool kit for small apartment living
It's a good tool set to bring up and down three flights of stairs off the third floor.Must be weighing almost 30 to 50 lb or something with all those tools. But no room to put extra tools in it or put spare nuts and bolts in the drawers. But the downside to it is the weight of carrying it up the stairs is my only complaint. Because I live in an apartment unit with no elevator. So far it's a very good tool set to start off working on my motorized bicycle. But the issue with it is I have to completely remove the drawers off the case to get at the wrenches And the screwdriver bits. But there's not enough larger size wrenches for this tool set that i was going to use on my motorized bicycle.Yes it's portable to take it with you on short trips if you add extra versastack boxes. With this type of tool set. Might buy an extra storage Versastack with the stroller for it. I don't know if it's going to go up the stairs or not. With a single wheel. But building material is very tough. But it does leave oils smudges easily on the red part of the tool drawers. Cleaning It regularly will keep it like new.But now I got better maintenance tools then the tools that came with my electric scooter. These tools are made in Taiwan which is great. The tools are well built and are comfortable to loosen bolts and nuts.

Great value
I didn't know what all the differences are but I ordered the 230 piece one for $99. I am really happy with the value of this. I haven't used them yet but they appear to be good quality. I'm a truck driver and want something for my rig. These won't be used that often so I wasn't looking for SnapOn quality. The drawers they come in are very cool, as long as your not a mechanic using them all the time. The drawers lock with the gray switch on top, so that's cool. They won't be rattling open coming down the road. It took me a moment to figure something out though. If you slide a drawer open, some of the tools are back under the next upper drawer and you can't get them out. But there is a push tab on each drawer on both sides. Push those down with your thumbs and then the whole drawer slides out. A great design for what I'm after. Super pleased. Especially since everything has is place and the spots are marked for the ratchet sizes so you can easily find what your after.
