EVAPO-RUST CRC 33400-AA Rust Remover 5L

This came recommended by a friend who raved about it. He was not wrong. I have used it on various items and the results are amazing. The non damaging formula is a bonus and does not affect parts normally damaged by most rust removers. The fact it is reusable too makes it very cost effective. I had a 1940 pocket knife with rusted blades and the old bakalite handles, Cleaned it up no problem and the handles were unaffected. Great value for money.

Used for a petrol tank on a Suzuki DRZ 400, tank had gone rust over winter and caused carb to clog, removed tank and used 5 litres of rust remover over a week or so rotating each day, drained then pressure washed the best I could, very happy with the results

Restoring cars for over 35 years I'm glad I found a rust eater that doesn't coat the surface in black oxide afterwards. I tested first on rusty scrap steel. Shiny after being left overnight. It did rust again left out in the rain but that's expected. The rust was removed as my measurements with a micrometer showed 0.05 -0.1mm thinner afterwards. The first use of this is removing rust from the fuel sump tank of my Jag XJS. There probably is still a use for Kurust but this might be better in some situations, removing the rust rather than converting it

Does exactly what it says on the container , used it on a 70 year old Bond petrol tank to great effect.

I was skeptical about such a product for a long time, but curiousity got the better of me and I bought 5 litres. I was quite amazed at just how well it works. The only downside is, as a result of the chemical reaction taking place, it does leave the product with quite a pungent smell. It's meant to be ab;le to be re-used time and time again. I'm yet to see how true this is, but for the items I soaked in it over noght, the results were far better than I expected. Tools have been returned to working condition ( just remember to oil them up well after cleaning them), and a metal bracket from badly corroded to virtually rust free, If you want a quick and easy way of removing rust, and you can put up with the "aroma" left behind, then certainly give this a go.

This stuff is ace. No idea how it works but it does! I used it on old rusty tools after scraping off what I could, and it’s fire and forget. Leave them to soak and rinse off a day later. Job done!

This stuff is brilliant! I wasnt sure it would work as well as it did but it certainly did. I used it to clean scruffy very rusty horse shoes for a wedding game. Worked great, game went down a storm

Excellent non-toxic product for rust removal on old motor bike parts. Went for 5ltr quantity so that parts can be fully immersed to get best results. Note: to avoid waste, the product can be returned to the container for re-use using a funnel and paper filter.

Wow. So weird to find a product in this category that actually does what it says it does. Soak any parts in this and the rust is removed. PERIOD. It can take between 30 minutes and 24 hours depending on the severity, but it works every time. Amazing! I run an auto repair shop, and this stuff comes in handy every single day.

Première expérience avec Evapo-Rust et vraiment je suis conquis. Utilisé sur des ferrures et de vieux outils en acier (très rouillés) après un coup de brosse et un trempage de 48 heures ils sont ressortis impeccables. Malgré le prix un peu élevé, c'est un produit que je recommande pour son efficacité !

Ca. 2l in Gebrauch, entfernt neueren Rost leicht, tief eingedrungener Rost (z.B. bei Meteoriten) geht auch bei längerem Einweichen nicht weg, das liegt aber vermutlich am Werkstück (sehr unebene Oberfläche). Das Produkt wird schnell schwarz, es bilden sich weisse pilzähnliche Ausblühungen, das liegt aber wohl am Werkstück und den Materialien darin. Der Geruch ist akzeptabel.
