Excellent doggie bags! My 80 lb. pitte needs good-sized strong bags and these work wonderfully. All-around excellent product. I love that these are biodegradable-it makes me feel as though I'm doing my little part for the environment. I love the print on the bags-nice stylistic choice :) with the added bonus that the printed text makes it very easy to tell which side is up (the opening) so I'm not fidgeting to get one open. Additionally, they open/separate easily, unlike other bags I've used. These are thin feeling and soft (really-sounds strange but they are and I like it) but SUPER sturdy.

Love these bags. I’ve been using them for about 6 months and have gone through several boxes. They are strong, easy to open, and best of all commercially compostable and I live in area with commercial composting. Sometimes I do have to take 1 bag off the roll before they will fit into my standard bag dispenser on my leash, but other times I don’t. If I do, I just tie that bag to the leash and use it first. They are also extremely reasonable. I’ve scheduled a regular delivery of these bags from amazon.

I rarely write reviews, but my daughter and I (co-dog walkers) agree that we should complain. These bags tear apart. Who likes to get dog poop on their hands? We will use up the package, but we have to take extras along and after we open a bag, make sure it isn't already torn. Very disappointed.

Great bags. Good size for medium-large dogs. We were using another brand which we thought was compostable, but we couldn't get it delivered to us in California, so I'm wondering if it didn't meet their standards. This one does, and works well, with no rips or holes. Will be ordering more.

Summary is at the end..... I took a chance on these bags since the manufacturer claimed that they met ASTM D6400 standards but the product had yet to be reviewed. My purchase of this item depended wholly on the item information available when compared to other bags' reviews and descriptions. We are diligent about cleaning up behind our dog, so we run through quite a few poop bags. It was important to me that I found bags that were allegedly truly biodegradable, since I care about my impact on the environment. Additional criteria included: large enough for us to use AND DID NOT TEAR. So far, both of those have been met. So overall, in summary: bags claim ASTM D6400 standards, are large enough to be used, are thick enough to withstand use and not allow any poop smell to get onto your hands, lack any strongly offensive odors, tear well at the perforations, and actually look good.

I had high hopes for these bags, but sadly, they didn't live up to expectations. Several have tears and holes in them. They are rather flimsy in comparison to others I have bought. All in all, I will not purchase again. Update: Caroline and Nicky, owners, have answered my review. New bags arrived this afternoon. Thank you for the quick response and solution.

Kennedy says: When I tell my mom I have to go.......she takes me outside and she uses a PupRepublic poop bag for my business. I know that they are biodegradable which gives me peace of mind. When I have peace of mind......I nap happily in my favorite chair.

My only complaint is that it only a hair wider than the mouth of my scoop so I have to shovel in at an angle to not get litter everywhere.
