Q: Could you upload pictures with it standing on the kickstand?

I may be misunderstanding your question, but the angle of the kickstand is not ideal if you are wanting to use it solely to hold your phone while you take pictures. It is more for holding the phone in a video watching position than anything.

Q: What’s max drop height?

I’m not sure. I dropped it from waist level coming out of my car and no damage.

Q: Does this case feel grippy or slippery smooth in your hand?

I find it grupon because if the rubbery surface. I have hold it with wet hand yet find it enough grip to hold the phone. Hope this helps.

Q: Do I need to get a back camera lens protector? This case looks great however I’m not sure it’s necessary to buy a separate back camera protector.

I don’t feel like it’s necessary. The cutout around the lenses is raised above the height of the lenses so falling on its back will usually protect the lenses. And if you use any MagSafe accessories like a wallet or battery pack then the lenses won’t come close to the ground if you drop your phone
