Bought this to find scorpions in/around our house. Does it work? Yup! For the price you can’t beat it. Well built, bright, effective for my purposes. Loading batteries isn’t hard at all. Took me less than a minute. Those who make a fuss about that need to take 5 minutes to just figure it out…

Worked perfect for finding hidden spots. Very compact and easy to carry around. It did fall out my pocket and down a flight of stairs and still worked, the button was a little stickier to use after that fall but it still works. So overall durability, compactness, and ease of use would make me buy it again in the future!

This is so bright, it works well to find pee spots from animals. It kind of hurts my eyes, so I'll be using sunglasses next time. It works to cure uv nail polish/resin, not sure if it's safe to use though, don't ask me.

I bought this because I have a toddler potty training and recently adopted an older large dog from the pound neutered later in life that had never lived in a house and had to be potty trained. Anyway, this light works for finding SOME urine stains on SOME carpets. Doesn’t really seem work for finding stains on hard surfaces. I highly doubt my house is near spotless. Really lights up the bad paint and stain jobs from the previous home owners, though. I was totally ready for a light show in my bathroom. I have a potty training toddler, I KNOW my toilet/bathroom and the training supplies aren’t spotless after a long day. Nothing except the hard water spots around the waterline of the bowl. I was waiting to wash a blanket that got peed on so I could test the light. It smells like cheeks, but light didn’t show any urine on it. My daughter got a small cut on her foot and bled everywhere as she ran to get me. Nothing showed up from that either. Anyway, I’m giving it three stars because the entertainment value for my toddler is high for the amount of money I spent on it. And while it’s not exactly great for lighting up a bathroom like it’s the christmas season and some other places I feel urine should be showing, it did find enough other spots I’ve missed otherwise and my home will be cleaner for it. Is it great? No. But it’s good enough for 5$.

Ordered this to check home after renters moved out. They had a professional vacate clean done. But my own pooches kept sniffing like they were about to pee. So the torch revealed all. Cant believe how effective it was. So ive been able to neutralise the old pee stains with the enzyme urine off spray. I also looked at the walls. Omg stains everywhere. Id insist property manager use this for final inspections if i ever rented out again.
