A great tool
I purchased this to use when laying tile floor in my basement. The first angle I cut using this made this one of the best tool purchases I have ever made. I have since used it on the drywall and other pieces in the remodeling project. I would highly recommend this tool as it will make your job so much easier. Holds up very well to the demands of construction.

Great Measuring Instrument
This angularizer ruler makes copying and transferring odd angles and odd measurements from one source to another a snap. An amazing tool once you play with it a little. If you sometimes need to make a copy of an odd shaped area and transfer it to a replacement piece such as flooring or tile then this is a tool that makes the transfer much easier. I highly recommend this tool for copying irregular shapes from one source to another.

Weird interaction with the seller
So weird. The box says "EMPLATE TOOL." I contacted the company to verify if I got the actual Amenitee Template tool, or some weird rip-off. They basically said, "it was a warehouse mistake," and "don't worry about it." It seemed that it was perhaps lost in translation, but I felt that could have been better handled. The tool seems ok, but I paid more for the Amenitee Brand, and the tool is not stamped as such, and the cheap-o bag that comes with it is not marked with the Amenitee Logo, as shown in the picture.I haven't had the need to use it yet, but I think it will come in handy to recreate angles. It's a great idea. Seems like it will work.

Better than plastic! Well made tool.
I have had the "yellow plastic" version of this tool from Home Depot General Tools 836 Angle-izer Template Tool for years and use(d) it regularly as a carpenter. I have always wondered why isn't it made from metal. Once I decided to research it I found this Amenitee version interestingly the same day I twisted a plastic locking nut on the plastic unit and broke it (likely my fault) installing some window sills. Glad to receive my new one and will be using it on Monday.I wanted the Gold Version (I like really nice tools) of this tool but the black showed up in a Lighting Deal so bolted (see what I did there) to the computer and ordered it.I attached a photo showing one way I use the product. A great way to lay out window sill cuts! All angles and cuts with one tool! Fit tool to window and walls, scribe the sill and cut, no tape needed! This is very well built, thinner, easier to read and will be more accurate and easier to use than the plastic version.

Emplate Tool?
I’m being fair to give this a 3 because I have not used it. I bought this as a gift for my son who is working on his Masters in Industrial Design. Please look at the photos and see that it is labeled as an Emplate Tool on top and a Template Tool on the side. I have to say this worries me for the quality of the tool which will remain to be seen, but it does not seem flimsy. For now the poor labeling will just be an absurd joke making this item seem like poor quality, badly made import. I will try to post again later after my son has used it.

Do you love your DIY Spouse/Partner?
Well I love my DIY husband and all of his projects. I however do not love helping with all of them, especially when I have no experience in doing some of the things asked. I had recently been lectured while assisting on a DIY project that I did not want to be apart of with angles and measuring and how me saying looks pretty close is not good enough. So what do you do when you don't want to help? Go on amazon and find something to help replace you. I purchased this WONDERFUL device after seeing some videos and reading reviews. I chose to go with the Metal and not Plastic because well boys/tools/durability. Gave it to my husband and he loves it and loves me more for not messing up his angles and projects. Buy this tool if you never want to be blamed for a wrong angle ever again and you love your partner, but not their projects.

Nothing else like it
I don't know why I haven't gotten one of these sooner, it has more uses than I will ever know.No more guessing what angle something is, you conform this to its exact angle or shape and simply copy and paste.I'm no expert by any means but this is a very useful tool, very good quality, and nothing else like it.

Aluminum, sturdy, cool...
I like this thing, and it's pretty tough and versatile. Tighten up the fasteners, and it doesn't move. I have not, as of yet, thrown it down a flight of steps to give it a true test....
