Thoughtfully written, intelligent guide to the Thoth cards
I highly recommend this book which is very thoughtfully written and actually makes the cards feel a bit less intimidating. The Thoth deck is great but can put a lot of people off due to it's associations with Crowley and his lifestyle. This book really takes the cards in this deck into a relevant and thoughtful space, which has enhanced my appreciation for the deck. Each card entry also has some journaling questions that help to further understand the meanings in a personal way. I'm a big fan, and extend my gratitude to the author for writing such a delightful manual for us to all enjoy.

Excellent! Very happy with this book :)
Would highly recommend this book for Thoth Tarot card readers as Gerd Ziegler seems to have a thorough understanding of Thelemic knowledge and the Thoth Tarot. But what I like most is he focuses on the positives. Personally when I'm giving a reading I like to focus on the positives so people leave uplifted & inspired to put the wisdom into practice. Tarot readings are very similar to oracles and prophecy in that regards in that you present to them the best possible outcome from the infinite amount of possibilities. You can't predict the future but you can open people up to the best path for them and this is what this book helps to do. Thanks Gerd, from Hayley

It's a must have
I highly recommend this book to everyone who owns the Toth tarot. It is simple to read and understand, but the way it describes each card, made me love this deck even more than any other deck I own. The cards, themselves are very well designed, with symbols that are intuitive and full of meaning. They are, as the title describes them, a mirror of the soul.*There is one thing that would make this book even better, and that is having the pictures of the cards in color.

helpful book
There are a number of books about the Thoth tarot, but I found this one really helpful and relatively easy to understand. Knowledge of the Qaballa is a must imo if one really wants to get to grips with this particular deck, but some books are SO detailed and confusing regarding the Qaballa it could be tempting to just 'give up'! However I think anyone who wants to really study the Thoth tarot this book would be a great book. It arrived quickly and was well packaged.

Solid 4 stars
Book well written although each card description isn't that exhaustive. On the major arcana there isn't enough details as you could find on the other Thoth Tarot book "The Crowley Tarot" by Akron and Hajo Banzhaf. However, this is more of a summary, so is good to be used as reference. On the minor arcana in my opinion there is not enough 'meat' so to speak.Thoth tarot is such beautiful and colourful deck, shame that all the books about this deck are in black and white.I still have to make up my mind which deck is my favourite.I own many: Rider Waite and many of its variations, Marseille and few variations, Golden Dawn in many guises, Hermetics, Thoth, Sola Busca, .. and many others... For each deck there is sometime a book. This is a solid and useful book, not quite a fiver. 4 stars

The best book for Tarot
The best book for Tarot. Unlike some Tarot books which can be surprisingly negative and judgemental, Gerd Ziegler interprets the cards in an open, compassionate, intelligent and creative way which enables one to see their situation with a broader perspective and he offers helpful exercises to generate insight and change.
