Lots of Neato's - lousy batteries
So I'm only giving 3 stars on the Neato. It's a great vacuum and I've actually had 4 of them. On their vacuuming, navigation, and overall capabilities I'd give them a 5. However, the battery life on these little buggers is horrible. Each and every Neato I've ever owned has had dead batteries after a year. On this order, I purchased in Oct 2017 and it's now August 2018...dead battery. Every single one of their models (that I've ever owned)...dead in about a year. Given their price, these need to last much longer. I'm going to try another manufacturer to see if there's anything better out there.

Works on my nearly black floors
I spent a lot of time researching before I made my purchase. My concern was that the fall sensor would be confused by my nearly black wood floors. Even a direct contact with NEATO cast doubts on its ability to function on my floors. I friend of mine had recently purchased a Neato so I had him bring his to my condo. It worked very well so I also purchased a Neato. I have been using it for two months and I am very satisfied with the performance. It sometimes misses dust in tight places, but that is OK, because I can take care of that lot faster than doing manual vacuuming. I have three floors in my condo and I take the vacuum and the charging unit to whichever floor I want to clean and it also works to my satisfaction.

I love it!
I have way too many pets, and vacuuming once or even twice a day was a bit overwhelming - and hurt my back. This unit is a dream come true! All I had to do was set the clock, and set a vacuuming schedule. Boom, done! If I want a seco d run later in the day, I can just touch a button and off it goes! The little noises it makes, like it's talking to itself, are hilarious. Lots quieter than I expected, doesn't even scare the cats! In fact, they are fascinated by it, and follow it around... Got hung up at first under one recliner, but the magnetic strips put an end to that. It is amazing how much pethair this thing picks up... a bit less effective on larger litter granules especially along baseboards, but overall I can't imagine living without it!

Better than the rest by far believe me I tried
After getting the cheap Bissel from Walmart for $199 It broke in less than 20 minutes, I then got the Samsung 9000.. returned it after 30 minutes it could not navigate in lines as advertised. I got the Neato D80. I have had neato in the past. This one has a much better filter easier to clean and larger. It does my house pretty well, though sometimes is gets confused and even though it is doing the same house every other day it sometimes picks different routes. With my GS dog Sadie even using it every other day I have to empty it 3x of hair etc.

I owned this for week and used it several times. It would get stuck numerous times during a cleaning. Stuck on chairs and furniture of various sizes and styles etc. Sometimes there would be a "clear my path" error message and there would be nothing near it except a wall. Sorry, unable to move the walls!

This works great. I have two 75lb dogs and I run the bot-vac every other day. It will vacuum for over an hour, go back and recharge if it’s not finished. I’m not sure about you but I have never vacuumed for an hour straight in my life. If it ever wears out. I will buy another one.

To get a proper working product
Worst thing I have brought from amazon, the vaccum since coming out of the box has had manufacturing issues and says the bumper is stuck but nothing is surrounding it, it doesn’t find its way to charge when flatI reported this a couple days after all these problems because I wanted to make sure it’s not a one off and even after troubleshooting the problems still occur and Sandhills or amazon won’t even offer a refund

Do not waste your money
One thing that bugs me is: When it needs a charge, it bee lines towards the base. Finds it, backs up. Then stops 12” from it. That’s when it works at all. Basically it was a total waste of money. Have had it for nearly a year. Have given up on it. Customer support is non-existent.The only reason I gave this a one star rating, is, that’s as low as you can go.
