This flyswatter does what it really says! I really like this flyswatter. We've decided to make a game of how many flies we can catch with it. We did have four, but we accidentally pushed the reset button. It does work really well though. It even kills gnats. The flyswatter is very easy to use. You just turn it on and start swinging. It's pretty much ready to go right out the box honestly, I'm so glad that we bought it. We've had a lot of flies lately and our plastic flyswatter broke.

I thought "maybe the reviews are just older people who didn't know how to turn it on", and "it could be people that just received a defective zapper".No.This thing is garbage. It's weak zapping power can't even kill a gnat, and if it could, it'd have to be a big gnat, or it'd just fly through the swatter's big holes. On 4th of July I brought it outside for a campfire and was trying to zap some flies that were annoying us. It couldn't zap the flies, but it caught a lightning bug which just shocked it into a miserable pain. I held the button and you could hear and see the bug being zapped, but after releasing the button, it was still trying to move and fly, not even dead.Yes, I did give it a full charge too prior to use too. It's a Black & Decker which I thought meant it had at least some modest dependability and quality nowadays, but in the case of this product, I was wrong to assume. At least it was relatively cheap, so not much was lost.

The product arrived safe and sound, and we cant wait to use it!The box came damaged which was disappointing as this was a gift, but the recipient is very happy with their new toy!

You might laugh at this Black and Decker bug zapper, but it WORKS. Seriously. Oddly satisfying. It's rechargeable via an included cord. It worked best on gnats. And it has a counter so you can keep track of how successful you are. The zapper is super easy to use. One note: the larger the bug, the 'smokey' it is. We preferred to use it on tiny things like gnats. It is lightweight, mostly plastic - with exception of the wire mesh. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. BOTTOM LINE: I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

Honestly I'm mostly complaining because the box and package were delivered completely smashed and torn open. But also the grate on the paddle catches bugs and burns them severely, making the air smell horrible. While it is easy to use, it feels cheap. The zapping is also very loud. It works, but I'd recommend anything else.

I used it for 10 minutes and it registered killing 17 mosquitoes. Then I put it down and it never worked again. I tried recharging it, but nothing. So disappointing.

The screens at my apartment don't quite fit the windows so there are gaps allowing so many flies in. I was tired of smooshed flies everywhere so decided to give the electric one a try. LIFE CHANGER! This thing makes getting rid of flies easier and cleaner. I cant lie, its a bit fun too, lol. I am so glad I got this. Love that it's rechargeable so I don't need batteries either. If a fly gets stuck in it, I just step outside and shake it a lil and it jiggles right out.
