Underated at a good price
It's got a knob. It's such an underated feature. One of it's main competitors offers a simply up down side button for volume and side by side, it's just not as satisfying. The sound out of it, I'm not audiophile but it definitely leans to a more warmer sound signature. To me, that's a good thing. It doesn't color your music much, just slightly warmer tones. It has a lot of nice features. I will mention though that it sounds different comparing low gain and high gain. Aside from just volume, the tone is different which is a bit strange. The app is garbage but you don't need it and I find it easier to just use the onboard controls built in. I compared this to the FIIO BTR7. The FIIO had a cleaner sound signature which fit my personal preference better. And offers just more power and wiggle room for more power hungry headphones. Along with being able to put on a wireless charger.The pros of the UP5 vs the FIIO was the included case, it can actually be hooked on to belt loops to make it's portability more useful. Along with just being smaller and easier to hold (no hard squared edges). Knob is always nice vs buttons. And it is cheaper! I don't think you can go wrong with either device. But if you want a knob and like a cheaper price tag, I don't think you'd be disappointed by the UP5. Good little device.

Great audio and sleek construction
This is my everyday dac I use this almost constantly, it's very easy to use and lasts long. Audio quality is great. Paired with my moondrop variations its a perfect edc dac thr included case with leather snap is useful for wrapping iems around. App needs some work but it's not the main focus.

High quality sound
Quality sound while use USB connection with PC, dual mode DAC and switched off equaliser. Necessarily to download shanling eddict player to use all functions.😮💨However DAC has been delivered without usb-c cable due original box was opened. Fingerprints are determined on DAC.
