I love this book!
Good book. Yea! Very good. Enjoyed it immensely. I really liked it. I loved the smoothie. Good carbs. Will buy book.

Cooking for a healthy heart
My husband was told to go on the dash diet for his heart condition. So, I got this book because it has so much information along with a ton of recipes. The first 5 chapters explain the diet and how it works. There is also a section on how much of different vitamins and nutrients you need as well as factors that should be limited or removed all together. There is a FAQ section, so that was very helpful as I had a lot of those questions myself. We then get into the recipes. I did not count them, but there are 15 or 16 chapters of recipes and i would say there is well over 100 recipes. They cover every food group and meal type you can think of. There is also a 30 day meal plan for helping you get a feel for the diet as a whole. I found this book met our family's needs and I am very happy with it.

Wish it was printed in color
I really wish this was printed in color. I am definitely a visual person when it comes to being intrigued by recipes.

Dash Diet Cookbook fir beginners
I’m giving this 3 stars because if what I’ve found in this book. It was certainly slapped together without much thought - to me. It moves from metric to standard measurements in the recipes. Their “feeds” number is laughable. For example, a recipe says feeds three and the protein (chicken) is 3 ounces to cook (really?). Oh, and the recipe includes cooked fish which is not listed at all. This is just one example. I say that if you want to try it, do. Me, I’m moving it out.

Good recipes I’m excited to try, but the macro breakdowns are incorrect so be mindful to calculate them yourself rather than relying on theirs. Also multiple spelling errors

unfortunately I suffer from high blood pressure and to try to lower it or keep it always at the same level I am often looking for useful books, this is an example! very useful for those like me who suffer from high blood pressure, it explains how many foods can interfere with it or how many others can help it, creating you a real diet. I advise.
