Question 1

Does this vitamin qualify as organic without the usda organic seal ? are does it have a seal and i just over looked it ?

Accepted Answer

Ascorbic acid is NOT vitamin C, it only passes for it. Crap !!!

Question 2

How big is the pill..? Many are so large

Accepted Answer

They are fairly large. It has not been a problem for me but others might differ. I think it is a very good vitamin C complex and company so am willing to deal with the size of the pill and higher cost (as compared with other available Cs).

Question 3

what about the expire date ?

Accepted Answer

It should be on the bottle. Contact the company for any concerns.

Question 4

What’s the difference between this and ultra c

Accepted Answer

There is a difference between the two formulations. The following are quotes from their website on 1-29-2019. MegaFood Complex C takes immune-supportive FoodState® Vitamin C and combines it with two powerful blends to deliver a broad spectrum of phytonutrients: our Organic Bioflavonoid Complex (organic amla fruit, organic green pepper, organic rose hips and organic orange peel), and Fruit Phenolic Blend (organic whole orange from, organic cranberry and organic blueberry).*
Our Ultra-C 400 provides FoodState® Vitamin C delivered with real organic oranges for the ultimate immune support.* You’ll also find our Nourishing Food and Herb Blend for an added spectrum of antioxidants.* This MegaFood product is made with real food, wholesome nutritional yeast, carefully selected herbs, and added vitamins. Each vitamin is paired with an ideal whole food using our unique process to deliver guaranteed potency and the benefit of health-promoting compounds present in the whole food itself.
I spoke with one of their reps today who told me what was in the Ultra-C 400, but I forgot. He said that there was a difference that some people would notice. For most people the only significant difference is that one is a bigger pill with more vitamin C than the other.
