Q: I am trying to run HDMI cables across my celing and then down the wall for projector install. Will this drop once it gets to the wall?

Being about a 1/4" metal strip, it is too stiff to fall down at such a precise bend. Most likely you would have to get over the wall, then project the cable down. Even then, it may easily curve and not go straight down. A alternative could be a metal nut (3/4" or more), tied to a string, then dropped down the wall. this will work if the wall has no internal insulation or other obstructions. Good luck.

Q: What is the width of the wedge tip?

It's maybe an 1\8 inch wide, and 1\4 inch thick, but you can take it off, which I did.

Q: Does this have foot markings to tell how much is run?
