Terrible. I am extremely disappointed, and this is 100% the company GIRO’s responsibility. The shields are DELICATE, yet they are being shipped in paper envelopes and a plastic bag. They arrive broken, crushed, and bent in half.I ordered the same shield twice and even specified through Amazon that it should be placed in a box with a fragile sticker. However, GIRO should already have a proper hard protective package for this type of product. The first one arrived completely flattened and broken in half. I called Amazon immedietly to notify them of poor packaging and ordered a replacement. Nor i just picked up the replacement and this one looks like it has been pressed like a ham and cheese sandwich.For such an expensive product, they do not provide a case or protective packaging to prevent scratches, deformation, or breakage during transportation.I have purchased GIRO products before, and honestly, this is very disappointing. At the very least, a plastic protective case should be included for a shield. A customer is investing almost $80.00 in a product, and it deserves proper protection. Even pizza, that costs $20.00, comes with a small plastic support piece to prevent the box lid from touching it and damaging it. It is unbelievable that a pizza is better protected than a helmet shield, which is an accesory to a bike helmet designed for triathletes that can cost $400 or more and its accessories are treated like a pair of socks, only worse because socks can't break, unlike the shield for the GIRO helment I purchased for my husband.I live on an island, and packages sometimes take days or even weeks to arrive. They go through different types of transportation and handling. GIRO should protect their products better to avoid damaged equipment and disappointed customers. Regardless of the destination, they should include a hard protective case or add special shipping instructions to ensure the product arrives safely and unbroken.I did not even open the second package they sent me because this was a gift I wanted to give my husband with a lot of love, and both times I was left disappointed.I am leaving my review here in English as well, hoping it reaches someone at the company, because I truly wanted to give my husband a thoughtful gift. Unfortunately, due to poor packaging design, lack of planning, investment, and attention to detail, GIRO is not properly protecting their shields during shipping. If I could have the option for 0 star review or negative five (-5) I would simply because I wont even attempt to ask for another replacement of a clear shield for my hisbamd so he can safely and comfortably ride during rainy or cloudy days for his training. Most of all I am sad that he wont get the surprise I had planned for him as he loves to train during that climate. I'm including pictures of how the packaging is for both for your benefit. The closed package is the replacement. And the open one is the first one I had ordered. Please do better.
