Hearty and Tasty meal in no time
I made 16 cups of this soup today for a group and added extra vegetables to it. It made such a hearty and tasty lunch with some garlic bread. Very easy to prepare and seasoned to perfection. I added some extras but you don't have to. It is a good way to use up the extras leftover bags of frozen veggies in your freezer or garden.

My favorite dry soup mix
This is my favorite dry soup mix and I add cooked ground beef or cooked Italian sausage when I make it. My family loves it. The grocery store is often out of this particular one, and I imagine it’s because the minestrone is just so tasty and popular. My order arrived undamaged and seems to be packaged well. I’d recommend this soup to anyone looking to buy something easy to make and satisfying. It tastes really good with quality ingredients. It’s an affordable meal that only needs water added and takes less than 20 minutes on the stove to be ready to serve.

Tasty.
This turned out great, like all Bear Creek products! I added 5 carrots, 5 celery sliced thin, along with a onion, can of corn, 8 oz can of roasted green chillies. Then went crazy and put in a cup of shredded cabbage. Turned out wonderful! Going to make this again.

Good soups, quick to fix
I’m a soup lover and I’ve used many of the flavors of Bear Valley soups and like them for their convenience and flavor. But the Minestrone was a bit of a disappointment - it was too salty for my preference and the beefy broth was too beefy. Fixed it by adding about 3/4 of a can of low sodium chicken broth, fresh sliced carrots, some corn and green beans. Made some cornbread and had several warming and hearty cold weather meals. Even knowing this soup needs some doctoring-up, I’d buy this Minestrone again. It beats taking half a day making it from scratch.

Most amazing soup!
Bought this soup to bring for Thanksgiving. I’m no cook by any means so this seemed the easiest to prepare. We did a Friendsgiving this year and decided to do an Italian theme instead of traditional turkey and my dish was minestrone soup. One friend’s mom attended and she loves Olive Garden’s minestrone so she was excited. I told her I hope it’s Olive Garden worthy and let’s just say she as well as several others said it was better than OG!! To my surprise…..in fact the host insisted that we leave the left overs so they could have them the next day and of course I obliged. they bragged about this soup to their neighbors. I saw some of the reviews and decided to add some diced tomatoes and a little more kidney beans. I will say the next time I will probably add a little more water as it wasn’t as broth-y as I would have liked but over all a definite 10 out of 10. I cooked it per the directions, added my extra ingredients and then dumped into a crock pot and kept it on low or warm. At first there didn’t seem to be much pasta but after it had been simmering for at least an hour or so you could clearly see the pasta took over.

Too much pasta
This soup mix tastes pretty good. What I didn’t like was the overabundance of pasta. There was way more pasta than veggies.
