Medabots The Complete First Season 4-disc Dvd Box Set

I had forgotten all about this show until a few years ago. I did a little searching online and this is honestly the ONLY thing I could find. It's only season 1 so you don't get too deep into the series itself, but it's a great show for kids or young adults, like myself, who want to remember a simpler time when Saturday morning cartoons were all that mattered. The show itself doesn't have the craziest plot or story line, but it's a solid program that also has some morals sprinkled in for the young kids. Compared to most the crap that passes off as kids shows these days(Besides Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Clone Wars) Medabots is a breathe of fresh air, and in all reality is pretty original especially for the time period it first came out. I would recommend this to anyone under the age of 25 that either A) Has kids or B) Enjoys anime style shows along the lines of Pokemon.

Great price for the length of video, and for such an under rated show I couldn't believe it was only $20.

One of the number of anime I grew up watching as a kid, along with Pokemon/Beyblade/Dragon Ball Z/Digimon/Etc. Shame the whole series wasn't released but this is still worth picking up. Mine arrived in great condition.

I found that it was surprisingly good. Most of the time the cheapest version of a dvd tends to have small freezes or pauses in it, that was not the case with this product. My only complaint is that upon arival the center press pop for one of the disks was already damaged and does not hold the disk. Other than that its good.

I remember watching this show on TV when I was a kid, I have loved it ever since then and glad that I have managed to finally get a hold of the first season.

Before when they aired this show on tv I normally avoided it, but now since I have gotten the dvd, I have grown to love it, there is humor in this show so that is always a plus for me.

Medabots, a classic series remembered from my younger days, so if you went to feel the fires of youth again and have a giggle then go for this set. If you are already young I doubt you will be wasting your time reading reviews... But a word of warning, while medabots is a fine series in its own right the american broadcasters decided to re-arrange the episodes (for ratings or just to mess with us, who knows?) so without the other season set you will be left somewhat confused and even with the other half the order will still be jumbled. But fear not! Being the twisted individual I am, I've spent countless days (an hour or two) learning and sorting the episodes into their true order (for my own benefit mind you...) and thus share the secret with you. Well it really is a great series, simple pokemon type formula, with a far less cruel design. The story is about a kid named Ikki who wants to be the best medafighter, medafighters use medabots... bla bla bla... This is a series that can take itself seriously, but isn't afraid to laugh at itself. The only downside to this boxset, is that shout hasn't seemed to make the second season, and watching it online sucks.

Not nearly as good as i remember it as a child but dvd is clear and no skipping and packaging is as expected.
