good sturdy ramp pieces
Easy to put together, you just provide the board. It will be easier for me now to load the heavy bag of rock salt for my downstairs water softener onto a cart and transport it up the ramp into my house. I am an older lady, and it has been getting more difficult to carry those bags downstairs. The ramp makes it more possible.

Easiest assembly ever
Works perfectly. Great alternative to buying ready made, super heavy ramps.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT, but here are CORRECTED DIMENSIONS
The ramps themselves are excellent, but their description is incomplete, and the dimensions shown range from misleading to dramatically incorrect. Contrary to a previous comment, the ramps can be used as received with no modification other than drilling mounnting holes. When bolted directly to a 2x12 or 2x8 wood plank, the top of the ramp is just flush with the surface of the plank. The minimal installation of drilling holes and attaching is entirely workable. However, a much neater, and possibly stronger installation can be made if the wood is trimmed so it fits more into the channel of the bracket. This involves cutting a triangular piece of wood off of the end of the board; rather than cutting the end perpendicular, cut it off at a 15 degree angle to perpendicular. I bought the 12" ramps, which are actually 11" wide. if the end of the board is cut and trimmed to fit, the newly cut end fits up against the 1.5"x7.09"(or 11") part of the ramp. Some familiarity with a hand-held circular saw is desirable. For ramps sold as 12", the actual width is 11"; for ramps sold as 8" the actual width is 7"; these match commonly sold lumber sizes. The dimension shown for the ramp portion length, mistakenly shown on the diagrams as 8", is actually 4+5/8" (big error here). The 1.5" dimension shown is actuallly 1+3/8". The bolts I received are metric, M8x1.25mm thread, which has an 8mm (~5/16") dia. The bolt is 48mm (~1+3/4") from the flat part to the end of the bolt. The ramp holes are about 8mm(~5/16") dia. The enclosed pins to hold the ramp to the loading surface are 5mm(~13/64") dia., and 48mm(~1+7/8") from flat surface of pin to the pin end. The ramp corrugated surface is at a 15 degree angle to the part which mounts to the wood. This means when the ramp is 100" long (8'4") and the corrugated surface sits flat on a horizontal truck bed 26" from the ground, the ramp will be at an angle of 15 degrees. This is optimal. With a shorter plank or a higher truck bed the angle will be steeper. Regardless of the ramp dimensions, it will be safer and easier to use the aluminum kit rather than just a plain plank by itself. Bottom rubber pieces
Bottom rubber pieces will not stay on boards. Am going to screw them down to help keep boards from sliding

Great kit for a ramp
Worked well. Was easy to assemble. Size fit a 2x6. Was study enough to load my 2 stage large snowblower that weighed about 250 pounds.

I bought the 8 inch kit and built my ramps using construction-grade pressure treated softwood (oak, as recommended by the manufacturer of this US product, would be too expensive in the UK). It turned out that the 8 inch components are in fact 7 inches wide; this is not a huge problem. The slot in the rubber foot is around 38mm, far less than the thickness of an 8 inch by 2 inch board. I rebated the ends of my boards to fit, and drilled holes for screws as there is no means of attaching them; friction alone would not keep them in place for long. The hooks for the other end are substantial extruded aluminium sections which look as if they are up to the job, though time will tell. Attaching them is straightforward as the design accommodates different board thicknesses. Contrary to another reviewer I did not think they were poorly designed or that the angle was wrong. They each have a pair of small diameter holes drilled in addition to the holes for the bolts, and there are four aluminium rivets, which fit the holes, supplied with the kit but these are not referred to in the instructions and I could not find a use for them. There is an obvious mistake in the instructions: "repeat steps 1 to 4" should read "repeat steps 1 to 5". All in all this is a good product allowing flexible choice of the length of the ramps. It is expensive as an import to the UK. And perhaps it needed a little more product development before being brought to market.
