I love the ease of use and minimal maintenance. Great power.
I had a ryobi 2 cycle gas blower for 10 years and it was just a pain to start. In fact it was at the point where it only ran for 10 seconds and then it would stall all the time. I'm sick of the maintenance with the gas equipment. I already have an 80V greenworks lawn mower and two batteries. I ended up giving my gas leaf blower away for free to a neighborhood hobbyist who likes working on small engines. This one now gives me a 3rd battery which is great to cycle through the batteries and also have an additional charger for doing my lawn and cleanup. The power on this is very good. I use the turbo a lot and it got all the leaves cleaned off my deck, even blew the ones stuck between the cracks. Under my 2nd story deck is a stone patio and it worked great to blow out all the leaves from that lower level into a tarp for me to drag to the street for municipal pick up. When its not fall, this is MORE than adequate for blowing the grass clippings from the driveway and sidewalks. Its excellent and when you push the trigger it just WORKS. No pull start, no stalling, the thing is great.

Well Worth It
Before I bought this model, I looked up the ratings for the top cordless leaf blowers. There are a few sites that rate items like this, so you have to finally make up your mind on which one to trust. Two of the four sites I viewed had this one rated as the "best rang for your buck". The other makes were twice as expensive and for what I wanted a blower for I could not justify buy a model that was 350 to 400 dollars. I had previously bought a Greenworks cordless pole saw and was very happy with it. So, I purchased this blower and can't say enough good about it. It is powerful and does the job. I have yet to run the battery down, even after thirty minutes of continuous running. It has a power booster and adds more power, as if you need it. Make a long story short I highly recommend this Greenworks Blower, you will not be disappointed for the price.

Best Blower Ever!!!
Something needs to really be amazing for me to take time to write a review. This leaf blower is the BEST!! Here's why: I read several reviews and bought 3 that were common in the top 5-8 blowers & similar in price. They were a RYOBI and an EGO. The EGO was the least expensive but got good reviews. Don't really know why. Yes it has a dial for 3 settings but the first one was almost non existent. That left 2 and even on turbo speed it was less blowing power than the slow speed on the other two. Keep in mind when in Turbo mode the battery life is much less. This was the cheapest of the 3 but still it was not very good. I have several other RYOBI tools and am happy with all of them. I thought this was a sure winner - WRONG! The RYOBI was so huge I thought I was carrying a Ghostbusters Proton weapon. Seriously it was huge. The style needs to be redesigned for an average person. Not easy to carry and maneuver around. The loudness and weight were all about the same. The Greenworks had the most power and ran the longest. I was really "blown away" at the power this one has. I really didn't need the turbo except for a few hard to get leaves stuck in bushes. I blew wet leaves on a 150 ft. driveway with no problem and had time for a 15' x 20' patio including a 30' walkway and about a 30' x 100' sideyard. This was way more than I thought I could do on 1 charge. Recharging was pretty quick. Didn't time it but it didn't seem like it took very long. You could use it several times in one day, easily. Price was good for comparable blowers. I am VERY happy with this. I wish I would have gotten it sooner. Give it a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Have fun!

<2A | 2.5A> Not as quiet, heavy, yet powerful beast that will push your arm back when turbo button is pressed. 4 out of 5.
Apart from using Gasoline powered mower and string trimmer, I have not used leaf blower of any kind previously so this is my first experience. The tool is louder than what I expected, however, it is not as loud as the ones you hear in the lots and parks. This tool only revs of the fan rpm's just like any appliance and tool, definitely not annoyingly loud like the gasoline powered ones, especially when the motor ticks to the max so there is the difference as this sounds more electric, but propeller design could be changed to make it quieter although I believe the power would be degraded so its a good median. How much different the blowing pressure? Not sure at all since I never used a leaf blower but it is surprisingly powerful to the point the turbo button puts so much air through that your arm swings back from the pressure, kinda like jet effect. The power is quite strong and convinces me to use this in the winter for light snow removal from sidewalk and driveway too, if that wont be successful I will come back and take one more star off but so far its 4 stars as the leaves are being thrown away by this. Also cleaning the garage with the blower puts my sweeping skills to shame and cleans every corner without the problem leaving huge dust cloud coming out in a matter of few seconds leaving garage crisp clean just after few minutes. Since never used any blower in the past, it takes getting used to and learning how to corner and pile up the leaves which will take more than first couple uses. The only negatives are that the trigger is one speed only, I thought itll have a potentiometer with at least 3 speed controls. Unfortunately, its only one speed and not understanding why does the trigger push in up to an inch if its not equipped with speed control. Theres the turbo button on the top which will push your arm back once pressed and outputs really high pressure to get wedged and stuck leaves out of the hiding. Another negative is that the nozzle is not interchangeable. Blower has two pieces of plastic tubes that lock into each other. I tried to bypass the tube between the actual motor blower and the tube with metallic rim to use it in tighter spots making it shorter but could not use the fancy one with directed end and metal protection in case I would hit something, so had to use the middle piece with no nozzle and no protection. PVC pipe, or tubing, doesn't seem to be too sturdy nor being made out of a long lasting reinforced material and I would recommend careful use in the winter freezing temperatures and use it as intended with metal tip nozzle. It has a dial switch on the side which keeps the blower on for the whole time working with it and letting your hand rest as the blower is heavy on its own not to mention the battery, and although it drains battery faster than just using the trigger when needed, plus since its one speed; due to errors and following corrections, I prefer to use trigger and pulse it to direct the leaves into their corners and piles thus doubling the 2.5Amp battery life of about an hour total use. ~20min of non-stop engaged blower. Really hoping the tool will prove worthy in the winter whether it'll snow at the time of use or not, it should be designed to get wet, sucking in the snow from openings while using so will update if not satisfied with the results. -I include the pictures of 2Amp Battery, On the left and 2.5Amp one that came with the blower, On the right; to answer the question of many people wondering, like myself before making a purchase. GreenWorks never showed any pictures with the battery differences or similarities to their potential customers. Really poor presentation from the company.

The blower I didn't know I needed! It has power! A lot! Very impressive!
UPDATE: Since my review below, I have used this more and more and wow! I love it! I was unsure if I really needed one this powerful and now I would not go without it! I used this to clear all the walnut tree leaves and it also blew the walnuts and the think parts between the branches and the leaves that hold all the leaves. Those part of the tree are kind of like a thin straw on the lawn and a normal leaf blower would struggle to blow those as they are not leaves, they are more like a thin frail wire size but like a weed stem. Not much surface for a leaf blower to push on with the wind they make, but this leaf blower has so much power that it still blows those and even the green and or black walnuts that have aged. I was able to clear the back lawn fast and easy. I do wear ear protection when using this as it is pretty loud, but it clears the deck or the driveway so much better than my old small leaf blower. I still use the small one for regular low effort blowing off a few leaves that pile up. But, when lots have built up then I use this big leaf blower. It has also worked nice having the battery from this and the snow blower, so now when the battery runs out on this 80v blower, I just swap it with the other 80v battery from my snow blower. I got it so I would have the back up for the snow blower if it ran low, but it also works vise versa so I can keep going with the leaf blower. The batter that came with this lasts about 20-30 minutes at full speed. OLD REVIEW: I bought this because I also bought the 80V Greenworks snowblower and wanted to have another Greenworks lawn tool that would use the 80V battery so I can rotate them and not have them just sitting most of the year. I think that batteries last longer when they are fully charged and then ran to the lowest power and then recharged. As such I bought this so I can keep the batteries being rotated. I was wondering how much power this would have as I have never had anything with a 80V battery. I have not yet used the snowblower. Today I took to use it and it blows marble to golf ball sized rocks, it blows small twigs in the lawn and even cleared the walnuts under the walnut tree that had started to sink in the lawn too. I used it out of the box and did not fully charge it before using it and ran it on full speed for maybe 30 minutes and it did not lose any power. I was able to blow leaves on the deck around tables and chairs and stands that normally are hard to get lose with my old blower. This thing really cleared the area. I also used it on the old patio and it cleaned it off and a good 8-10 feet past metal legs on the table and chairs. I have never had a blower that could blow smaller leaves off the lawn so well. The back lawn is a bit tall and the leaves had been sitting so it was not a easy task to blow them off, but this did it well. My drive way has a lot of cracks in it and small rocks and stuff had been filling them in for a year or so and this cleaned the cracks out. Cleaning the drive way was fast and easy. This has so much power you have to be careful when blowing things near the garage doors or a wall on your home as it blows things up against it and then right back on you. The only thing I did notice is not as nice as my smaller one is this is a bit heavy and after a while of using it my low back started to feel it, but I do have low back problems and I have been doing a lot of things outside today so I am sure that was part of it. If you are in good shape I doubt that the weight will be that noticeable, but if you are not in super great shape after 30 minutes of using this you will likely feel it more than a small blower that does not have this much weight or power. I almost think this is too much for what I really need, it works, but it is very powerful. I will keep it as it works and I was able to clear my patio and deck well and my smaller blower does not work as well. This will also be good for spring to clear the back lawn because it normally is full of dog poop and I used to use the plug in blower to go back and forth and blow the dog poop into the treed area in the back. This will work for that well. If you have a wooded area behind your home where you can dump leaves and twigs and compost this also has power to blow things into the woods from your lawn. But, even if you have a closed in back lawn you could use this to blow things into a pile in the middle to rake it up easier, rather than raking the whole lawn. This also worked well to help break up the death thatch as it ripped the dead areas of the lawn off. Which would be nice for planting grass then after, so it will hit the dirt. If I did not but the snow blower and wanted something else to keep using the 80V batteries in the year, I may have returned this, I don't know as it is so powerful and it fells almost more than I really need. But, also it worked so well to clear the lawn in areas that nothing else has ever done (unless I would take a hard rake and rake the lawn well, but that is a lot of work). This was almost as powerful as that to break up the dead grass and break up the lawn so grass can grow better when planted by seed.

Beware, warranty may not be honored
I was purposely waiting to write a review until I had a chance to use the blower for an extended period of time. I bought mine in October of 2018. I think the blower product is excellent. It is extremely convenient to use. No gas. No power chords. Just go. I also think the engineering of the product is excellent. It is well balanced, goes together quickly and easily, and its features such as "cruise control" are very intuitive. I really liked the product. Then, after about a year and a half, my charger's LED would turn red when charging my battery. Shortly after that, my battery's life went down to 4 minutes of use per charge. I sent emails to Greenworks inquiring about the warranty with no response. I then waited on their help line for a long time to get through. (The line was regularly over 200 people long.) When they said they would do a callback if I left my number, they did not. Finally, I was able to get through to a human. They agreed that the battery was faulty and under warranty. Then the service rep came back and said that they could not honor it because I got it through a "third party" on amazon. I've seen no limitation on the warranty that states that the warranty is only honored by specific sellers. I would love to see the list and see where it is published. I feel that I have been mislead. I'm going to keep trying to get them to honor the warranty as it is published on-line and in my users manual. But, before you buy this, you might want to do an investigation of whether or not it will be covered. Basically the tool became worthless after a year and a half. The sad part about this is that I really like the tool. And, had they honored the warranty, I would have bought more Greenworks equipment. I am now going to give EGO a try.

I'm Loving Greenworks Yard Tools
I recently purchased the Greenworks 80v Chainsaw after reading so many good reviews from professionals, and was shocked to have it perform better than my gas 42cc chainsaw. I cut quite a bit of fresh hardwood and it cut through it like butter. It also never ran out of battery power and quickly recharged. Lots of power and well made. So I decided that battery powered yard tools with enough power have finally arrived, and I purchased this Greenworks 80v Leaf Blower, and it just confirmed that these tools clearly do have the power and battery life to allow me to get rid of my gas powered yard tools. This leaf blower is more than powerful enough for my needs. I put it to work on my 250' stone driveway that is covered by trees, and it was great even with multiple layers of leaves. If they last as long as most have claimed, I'll never buy a gas powered yard tool again. So much easier.

Worthy
Iโm really impressed with the performance of this Greenworks PRO 80V blower. It has strong air output that easily clears leaves and debris, and the battery lasts long enough for most yard jobs. Itโs much quieter than a gas blower, and thereโs no fuss with fuel or maintenance. Lightweight, easy to handle, and charges fairly quickly. Great buy for anyone looking for a high-performance, cordless option!

Surprising capability, and then you hit Turbo Boost. WOW !
First time out we blew heavy leaves for over an hour and still had tons of juice left in the battery. Loads of power to blow those heavy wet leaves or thick snow. For the extra heavy spots there's the turbo button too. This power packed unit really surprised me!
