Does everything it promises - good protective barrier. Highly recommend

Bought to use after minor operation seems to be working well.

I used Kelo-cote about 3 months after surgery to moisturise long scars on my chest that were a little hypertrophic and to help them fade. I used this for 6 months and honestly - didn’t see much difference in fading, hypertrophy or skin texture. In fact, I swapped products and then noticed an immediate difference at last. However, it did help with the dry skin and itching I had been experiencing and it did reassure me that my skin was protected from the sun appropriately during that summer. In fairness it’s hard to know for sure if a product has (or hasn’t) helped scars or if it’s just time and healing doing its thing, especially in the first year. My scars didn’t get bigger or stretch at least while using it and the added moisture likely helped to prevent further hypertrophy. As a product - it dries fairly quickly (within a few minutes), doesn’t leave any weird texture or stickiness issues and was generally easy to apply. A lot more comfortable than scar strips especially in the summer, and it doesn’t seem to be too affected by sweat, it lasts through the day. The tube is small but lasts a long time as you only need a tiny amount per application.

This has got to be the best scar cream I've come across. Bonus points for UV filter. Highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant

This item is expensive but you pay for what you get. I broke my wrist (badly smashed) and had an operation to put it back together again. This involved a plate and 15 screws. So, the scar was red and upsetting. I've used this for 3 weeks now...morning and evening and it's brilliant. Scar is now nearly white. I would definately purchase this again.

I've asked for product support for this and might change my review in response. I cannot get this to dry! It glides on easily and can be smoothed out very thinly, at which point the scar is very successfully less noticeable. But the gel remains tacky for hours. I've tried using the tube from the fridge, standing in front of a fan... still tacky. It dries overnight and is really effective the next morning - but then applying it after the morning shower takes me back to square one.

Ich hatte einen Chemieunfall mit einer Verätzung 2 Grades auf meinem Oberarm. Die Stelle war schon sehr groß. Creme die Narbe schon seid 2 Jahren regelmäßig ein und sie wird immer kleiner.
