Good quality peice of kit.
Looks a good quality reel. I know it can put up with some punishment. My friend took his one to Norway and it coped with good double figure Cod & Coalfish caught on lures. Looking forward to using it. Only gripe was that I was told it was handed to a neighbour but found it on my front doorstep...!!!

The reel is awesome..I think packing (it came with original box) is little bit poor for especially international shipping. It’s very susceptible to damage as I see. One more box with some protection will be better for possible damages.

Great Reel
I've been using the 3000 reel for Pollock fishing,Paired with my Savage Gear Roadrunner xlnt2 Rod. Very smooth reel. My only negative is that it's quite heavy compared to other reels. But it suits me perfectly.

Luv this Penn Battle
Enjoyed every minute of using it. Was not easy to get used to to start but once I knew how to use it, I was getting good distance! Bought a new Assassin 12.5ft x 3 piece rod to go with it - well matched to suite my Cape Town trip.

These are one great reels;
These reels are top notch for the bigger fish such as Stripped saltwater Bass; I now have Two Battel 2- 6000 as well as the 8000, I use braided 65 and 100 lb line and these reels will take plenty of line to fight the big ones. These are the very best reels I have ever come across, so; yes, these are a must for the big ones you'll net.

bonjour j ai acheter deux moulinet penn battle 2 6000 pour la peche en mer moulinet très puissant il manque une deuxième bobine dommage . je conseille ces moulinet pour les pecheur de silure .
