[I normally love grenade bars so that’s why I’m giving it a 5 stars. But the review below is for the ginger bread flavour] I bought these last year, I bought the ginger bread ones. I normally love grenade bars, but these were absolutely awful. The ginger flavour was stale and very peculiar and the raisins inside were dry and a very weird texture, I felt like I was eating dead flies. They also gave me acid reflux, which I never normally have. I bought a whole box, which makes me sad because I have pretty much an entire box left. They have expired now and I have to throw them out.

The Grenade OREO Protein Bar is hands‑down one of the best protein bars I’ve ever had. It actually tastes like an indulgent OREO chocolate bar rather than a typical protein snack. The texture is soft and layered with a great crunch, and the creamy filling gives it an authentic OREO flavour without being overly sweet. Each bar is packed with protein and low in sugar, making it ideal for post‑workout snacks or a guilt‑free treat during the day. They’re really filling too, which helps curb cravings without feeling heavy. The box of 12 offers good value and stays fresh for ages. If you want something that tastes amazing while helping you hit your protein goals, this bar is a winner. Grenade absolutely nailed this one.

I started buying these as a way to swap out my usual "meal deal" chocolate bar for something healthier. I'd still get that sweet fix with significantly less sugar and a lot more protein. On that front, these deliver perfectly. The taste is very good - you definitely get the "Oreo" vibe, though you can tell it’s a healthy alternative rather than a pure sugar rush. It is less sweet than a standard candy bar and has a significantly chewier texture (which is standard for high-protein bars), but it satisfies the craving without the guilt. I usually buy the smaller bars, so this 60g size was a step up. While it’s a great size for filling you up when snackish, and hitting protein goals, I actually think the smaller one might be more manageable. These are decent value when on sale, though I'd probably hold off buying them at full price.

My fave non seasonal grenade bar. The dark chocolate is very well done for a protein bar and the raspberry is there without being too much. It's a nice treat when you want a dark chocolate fix and have protein macros to fill. I appreciate that this is low carb and lower fat than many with a good protein to calorie ratio. It should fit into most diet plans including keto or low fat without adjusting to accommodate too much. Grenade can be expensive so I like to stock up via subscribe and save when on offer then skip the months its not (naughty but it helps with the budget) I find these bars to be a good size to fill a snack hole without leaving room to still feel snack. These do contain sugar alcohols so if you're sensitive to those you may want to avoid or treat them as an occasional indulgence.

These were surprisingly nice. Not as runny as an actual creme egg (from what I remember, it's been about 25 years....), but a nice little 172 kcal bar with 14g of protein and only 1.1g of sugar.

It almost feels like the bar is made up of two layers, and on the first bite the top section sometimes separates a little - occasionally sticking to the roof of the mouth before settling into a chewy consistency. It’s not a major flaw, but it does make the experience a touch less seamless than some of Grenade’s other flavours. Nutritionally, it performs well for a snack of this kind - a solid hit of protein, modest sugar content and enough substance to feel satisfying between meals or after training.

Inmiddels heb ik verschillende merken proteïnerepen geprobeerd, maar de repen van Grenade zijn echt het allerlekkerst. De 12-stuks verpakking is voordelig geprijsd. Bovendien is mijn bestelling erg snel geleverd.

I read lots of reviews before buying these. Some said the bars were great and others said they tasted chalky and bad. So I was prepping myself to bite in and potentially be grossed out however I was surprised. The bars are delicious! The hit my sweet spot perfectly. The oreo bit added a nice crunch to each bite. I would highly recommend!
