G-Shock Men's Watch GA-100CF

Bought this on a nostalgic whim. My sister and I both used to wear nothing BUT G-Shocks during our youth. She is a fancy-pants Tag Heuer watch wearer nowadays, whereas i have, up until now, just made do with the cheap £15 casios due to the nature of my work. I'm glad i bought this, it brings back nice memories. They are still a bit complicated to set up, and the illumination light on this is nowhere near perfect ( usable, just awkward) but i reckon i this could take a fair bit of abuse before it conks out, if my childhood skateboarding memory's serve me faithfully. All in all, nice watch, the camo looks dope, its big but not stupid big. Just a nice throwback timepiece for me.

I liked all the features. Setting up was complex but not that difficult once the manual was studied. It works perfectly and like all the Casio watches I have owned it is a very accurate timepiece. I would have liked a luminous clock face since gauging the time in the early hours without the glasses on or lighting is difficult. With perfect vision probably not a problem. The battery life on my other Casio watches was excellent and I am hoping this is similar, unlike the Invicta watch I previously purchased where the battery expired just outside the warranty period. If you inquire of them how much to change battery and seals they refuse to give you a quote and insist on the watch being sent to them and examined for when the will give a figure. Needless to say it sounds a bit of a rip-off and I am sure a high street jeweller would do it for a few pounds.

I bought this watch in late 2019 and have been very pleased with it since. I have a problem in that I spotted a You Tube video (How to tell if your 5081 Casio is a Fake). The video compared a fake vs a genuine Casio and all the negative issues with the fake I realised that my watch had these same issues. As shown on the video Japan was etched on the buckle of the strap where the video said it should be Thailand or Taiwan, in time adjust mode it said that the watch should go backwards when setting the time as opposed to going forward for a complete 12 hours if it was just a few minutes in advance, there were a few other issues noted but these were the two main ones for me. Of course I do realise that the video could also be a fake. Can anyone help explain.....

Its a good watch, Loved it in the pictures and reading the reviews swayed me into buying it. On receiving it today It wasn't as what i expected. Its a big chunky watch (which i really like) but lacks the weight of such. Feels cheap but looks more expensive. Had to go onto youtube to find out how to set it up as i found instructions were not as straight forward but maybe i didn't understand them. Bought the watch just for work purposes and i suppose it will do as it looks the part. If it had a bit more weight behind it (feels cheap and plasticky) then would definitely give 5* Glad i bought it on offer as would hate to pay full price for this watch. Just dosn't seem worth the price tag of £110. So to round it up, Yes its a nice looking watch and does what its supposed to, However, Needs a bit of weight behind it to justify the pricetag.

This is a great watch for the money. it has every function that I wanted, dial big enough to see without my reading glasses, waterproof suitable for diving, multiple alarms, hourly indicator, day and date and digital and analogue time. The only slight draw back is that the digital part is difficult to read if not in really good daylight and the light does not show it up. The analogue is always clear though. I am very pleased with it.

This is an upgrade of my old Casio watch and it's my first G Shock. The watch comes well presented and easy to set up. The face has a slight camouflage but it's not too army looking it just adds to the watches robust feel and look. It's comfortable to wear and looks great. I'm very impressed with this purchase. It's a bit more than a standard Casio but it's built to last.

There were no reviews on this watch but i loved the look of it and took a chance. It is like an G shock watch i guess, well made and tough. I use this alot outdoors sleeping under canvass, treking around with my gear and it is very hardwearing. Easy to read the time and lovely looking. Is very stealthy looking watch..Perfect and excellent value for money!

Bought this very recently. Trendy watch and definitely a head-turner. the very next day, I had to travel to india for holiday and I noticed people looking at my hand (watch). I keep wearing this one for my Executive MBA classes. Well made, solid. Fits comfortably and looks very trendy. Worth the money. 100% recommend.

La calidad del reloj es excelente , aunque los g-shock de hace 10 años eran mucho mas robustos . TIENE UNA PEGA ( PARA MI ) ENORME ! , al ser las agujas del color del reloj ( negras ) es dificil ver la hora , sobre todo de noche , que es casi imposible , incluso con la luz del reloj .

For the price? It is totally worth it. Although, it is grey rather than black, I like it.

Cómodo y elegante, un acierto de compra

I piccoli display del tipo a cristalli liquidi non sono così facilmente leggibili come in figura in condizioni di scarsa visibilità. Credo si tratti di un accorgimento per risparmiare la batteria il non aver accentuato eccessivamente il contrasto per facilitare la lettura. Così facendo però si ottiene il risultato di avere il quadrante delle ore molto ben leggibile senza interferenze di sorta da parte di altri dati quali giorno e mese dell'anno che possono comunque sempre essere letti. Meccanismo di messa all'ora per l'affissione analogica di assolutà precisione. Buona l'illuminazione del display fornita da un LED di colore arancio posto nella parte inferiore a ore 6. Le istruzioni fornite a corredo in lingua italiana semplificano la messa a punto dell'orologio e l'utilizzo di tutte le funzioni tra le quali timer e sveglia. Consegna rapida per parte di Amazon. Consigliato a chi necessita l'affidabilità del servizio dell'ora in una vita dinamica senza correre rischi con urti ed umidità. A causa degli accorgimenti volti all'impermeabilità, contro il magnetismo e contro gli urti medesimi i corpo dell'orologio risulta un po' tozzo ma leggero e gradevole al polso.Considerando che il Marchio "G-Shck" risale all'anno 1983 ... vi state acquistando un mito!

Benutze sie für den Polizeidienst. Sie ist sehr robust und bei Widerständen kann man sich darauf verlassen, dass sie unbeschadet bleibt. Für den Preis unschlagbar.
