Would recommend
Purchased this for my DJ decks and having never used a Kensington lock before I was excited to try it (yes the sad life I lead). The whole thing seemed well made and served its purpose well. Would recommend.

Good quality
Quality is good and it seemed very strong to secure the laptop. Unfortunately I have to return it as it is not compatible with my laptop.

What I needed
Exactly what I needed to secure my laptop. The lock can be a bit fiddly first time you use it - you have to get the lock aligned properly for it to slot in but once you have realised this, super easy to use. Seems sturdy but hard to know for sure. To see if it will fit your device check the ‘k’ logo - whether it’s in a square or hexagon.

I like this laptop lock because it is good quality,made professionally from strong and good quality materials,easy to use.Moreover,here is spare key and if you register key online on Kensingtons website you can get replacement.It is good to know,so no worries if I lost key.I tried this lock on my HP laptop and it fits well,it should help if you have to use laptop for job in public places,but not sure is it useful or not at home.Maybe it would protect from thief's if you live in a first floor and leave windows open.

Very good product and it does what it’s supposed to, I just didn’t read the fact that your laptop needs to have a built in Kensington slot in order for this product to work, I then returned the ones I had bought and bought the entire set which includes this product, an entire lock station which you can put onto your laptop in order to lock it without the built in slot…overall happy with it
