kenable Krone Type IDC Punch Down Insertion Network Ethernet Module Tool

I was skeptical of buying this due to the other reviews of cheap punch down tools. I was actually set on getting a trend micro one at nearly £20. I thought at under £3 this is worth a punt. Usually cheap tools need silly pressure, they break or plain don't work.It paid off. I only needed for one job and it was excellent. It has the hook and flat pull out bits on the top. The actual punch down tool works a treat with the spring being about the right tension and the cutters easily tidied my CAT6 solid copper cable when putting it into the socket.

A great tool for the job, I've only used it to punch 2 faceplates so far so can't comment on heavy use durability. This is the first time I've wired up RJ45 faceplates and I had no problems at all, it was quick, reliable and easy and the cables were snipped off neatly at the same time. As with all punching tools for RJ45 sockets, you must make sure the tool and wire are aligned properly with the socket and avoid pushing it in at an angle.

Perfect for DIY crimping. Have no idea if this good quality or not but I only needed for a one off job connecting a CAT6 cable from garden office to home and worked perfectly. All of the You Tube tutorials suggested this was a must have tool to connect the cable to the RJ45 sockets which it was. Works like a dream

For a little over £3 I didn’t expect too much but I only had 4 sockets to connect.The tool worked flawlessly in terms of punch (all 2 wires per connector) and trimming the excess cable. The last click was as solid as the first. Exceeded expectations.

Works ok but don't hold out too much hope that it will last, I might be proven wrong but wouldn't bet against it.

Used this punch-down tool to wire all the Ethernet sockets in my house walls. Very impressed! Btw they work perfect for CAT6 wall jacks.

Used it with the "RJ45 Face Plate Wall Sockets Cat5E Double 2 Port with Keystones Jacks" also for sale on Amazon. Tool worked well although sometimes it did not cut off the end of each cable during its insertion. This could have been down to my lack of technique but a Stanley knife finished the job off ok. Don't know how robust it would be for a large installation of sockets but it is certainly good enough to complete installation of a couple of wall sockets.

Worked very well for my needs. At my home I cut one Cat5E patch cable in half and attached it to Krone panel with this tool. For amateur needs this tool is good enough for all ten times you need this specific operation during your lifetime :-D

La verdad es que nunca necesité uno hasta ahora, vi algunos productos caros pero al ser algo que voy hacer en casa no quería una herramienta "Profesional", vi este que costaba nada más que 5€ y al probarlo he de decir que no se necesita más. En el caso de que se rompa puedes comprar otro ya que cuesta poco. Funciona bien, hace dos pasos, primero al meterlo hace fuerza para meter el cable y después se mete del todo cortando el cable sobrante. Buena compra

C’est peut être assez simpliste comme avis, mais j’assume et je dis que cet outil fait le boulot.Certes il n’est pas de qualité professionnel, mais pour du câblage peut intense ça fait le travail.Très utile et efficace pour insérer les fils dans les connecteurs.Mode d’emploi utilisé: Je présente le fil du câble ethernet sur le connecteur, je présente l’outil sur le fil et appuie dessus. L’outil insère le fil dans le connecteur et termine par couper le surplus de fil.Personnellement j’utilise l’outil pour insérer le fil et je termine la coupe du surplus par une pince coupante.

De primeras bien. A veces no corta completamente el cable sobrante, no es gran problema para mi, pero por ahora hace su función correctamente. Ya veremos con el uso... Buena relación calidad precio.

Das Gerät an sich funktioniert super. Leider habe ich allerdings eine Weile gebraucht, um rauszubekommen, wie das Werkzeug funktioniert... Eine kleine Anleitung wäre super gewesen. (Habe dann auf YouTube nach einem Tutorial gesucht)
