Fantastic stuff
Once worked in a BMW car, Repair/Body-shop and the guys who valeted the vehicles ALWAYS used Auto Glym products and I can recommend any of their products. Easy to use, a little goes a long way and the results are fantastic. A bit of time and effort and you have one, clean, tar/traffic film free vehicle - looking pristine. 10/10 If you love your vehicle, treat it to Auto Glym products. You will not get better.

Shine, shine, shine. +++UPDATED+++
OMG!I have used this on my brand new VW Golf and the racy red colour is now a very deep racy red colour. I am so glad that I decided not to spend the £250 which the garage pushed me on to have the Williams car protector applied to my new car and trusted my instincts to go with Autoglym and save myself £237.00! Yes I will have to re-apply this in 6 months time and yes I will have to thoroughly clean it and "clay bar" it first, but you know, I find it quite cathartic and it allows me to take a good look at the condition of the paintwork.How does it function on older cars? Well I have to admit that I am only half way through applying this to my 13 year old MGTF, primarily as I have had to clean it thoroughly, polished it with Autoglym polish and "clay bar" it, before applying the resin. I have only completed the boot, bonnet and front wings; it does take time to do it properly with an older car, but having used Autoglym and the excellent 'Mer' polish before, boy can I see the difference on the MG, which looks like a car which is much newer than a 54 plate.As with all Autoglym products, you pay a premium for a premium product. I am do glad that I declined the Williams product; there is nothing wrong with it, it was applied to my wife's car and it repels dirt and makes it easier to clean, but so does this resin and I can only recommend it.+++UPDATE+++8 years on, this time in is a brand new ŠKODA SCALA Monte Carlo. Same product, which hasn’t changed and yet another car getting the Autoglym home treatment. My dealer offered me a workshop applied Autoglym product costing £800. Yes it is Autoglym, but seriously £800. I would rather take my chance with this product. Apply sparingly with Autoglym’s applicator, allow 20 minutes to dry and harden then buff to a finish using a microfibres cloth. Job done and yes it needs to be done 2-3 times a year, but who cares, it really is good.

Hard work but superb results
Great product but used exactly as directed in cool shade, went on easily but definitely needed some serious elbow grease to polish off. The results were excellent but I was too tired to drive it anywhere!!Washed again one week later with auto glym shampoo and it came up a treat, water beading off beautifully. Will definitely use again in a month or two so better start weight training😃

Excellent value
Very good value due to the fact it you use sparingly. Do not use a big cloth, just a small one. I always use a 100% cotton cloth. Cotton dusters are good. Do not use nylon cloths, they are abrasive and leave a hazy shine under certain lights. To benefit from the autoglym gold you must wash your car dry it then apply autoglym renovating polish to get rid of the hazy scrathes. But you can only do this so many times to a cars bodywork due to a layer of paint coming off onto the cloth. Be careful with metalics because there is a clear laquer and this wears off as well. Some cars have a clear laquer over the colored paint this can wear off. Really speaking a car with just a base color can be renovated more than a metallic one. Some base colors do oxidise, they go a misty color a lighter than they were over time. Red seems to be worse for this due to the fact it always looks brighter. It is actually radiation, light radiation, in time that radiation wears away. But coating it in a good polish like autoglym gold. will hold in the color for longer. Once your car has been cleaned with a wash and using renovating polish, the super resin polish is not needed, just the extra gloss. Just use the red super resin polish for a 2 monthly clean, especially in winter when there is salt on the roads. In the summer the tar is a problem, but just use autoglym tar remover and then the red super resin polish and a small amount of the extra gloss. The extra gloss goes a long way if used sparingly as it should be used. Good thing with the extra gloss is you just wipe it on with no buffing required. So just apply this regularily then it saves the hard work later.

Lasts ages and easy to apply
I suppose like many people I thought polishing and waxing a car were two different terms for the same thing. But after watching a few Youtube videos I realise they aren't!Polishing makes a car's paint smooth and shiny by removing the surface dirt and grime that washing doesn't remove, and also by removing oxidation of the paintwork that occurs naturally. It does that by removing a microscopic layer from the surface - a bit like polishing silver removes the tarnish from the surface.Waxing, on the other hand, applies a film of wax/sealant to the paint to protect it from the elements, it makes rain bead off and helps stop damage from acidic bird droppings etc. Wax takes longer to work up a high gloss mirror shine, but I am not too bothered if my car looks a tiny bit streaky after a quick application, it's more important to me for the paintwork to be protected. And Extra Gloss Protection does a great job, rain still beads up 3 months after application. Just be aware that this stuff is very watery so be careful you don't apply too much.

Great as a finishing coat.
Bought this along with the Super Resin Polish and it's great. A perfect finish to your polished car. Easy on and off. 5*
