Question 1

If you don't get a period anymore, how can this help with managing stress

Accepted Answer

Dear Connie,Thank you for your question!Leaf app calculates your stress sensitivity by taking into account all the data that the tracker collects while you are wearing it. What time you went to bed and how much sleep you got, as well as how active you've been and the number of steps you've taken play an important role in the calculation. If you've meditated or done any breathing exercises, and you have the reproductive health feature turned on, these values will help calculate your stress level too. However, if the cycle feature is turned off, your stress levels will simply remove it from the calculation, as well as the Leaf app in general. This way you can comfortably enjoy the app without any false information, not cycle reminders. Our team is also working on a unique menopause features and notes so make sure to stay tuned! We hope this answers your question. Question 3

Waht does the leaf urban actually track? I downloaded the apl and it looks like a lot pf it is manual input.

Accepted Answer

Hello,Thank you for your inquiry! The Leaf is a sleep, activity, and reproductive health monitor that helps you cope with stress through built-in breathing exercises. Leaf Urban works as a tracking system for your health and provides insights and helpful reminders to keep you on track. Monthly cycles (fertile days, ovulation, period, and contraception intake) are monitored through the app so that you can have a greater awareness of your reproductive health. For now, Leaf can track your steps, distance moved & calories burned, but any extra activity such as breastfeeding, weightlifting, yoga etc. has to be manually entered. It also vibrates to remind the user to either be more active or reduce the intensity of her workouts based on her set preferences. If we've missed anything you would like to know, do not hesitate to send us an email at hi@bellabeat.com. We'd be happy to help! All the best,Bellabeat Team

Question 4

How do the Leaf products differ from a fit bit other than the fact they are tailored to women?

Accepted Answer

Dear Fisher,Thank you for your interest in the Leaf.In terms of comparing the Leaf with Fitbit, there are two main differences:1. Functionalities - our software it designed to track women's health and by that you are able to track your monthly cycles (period, ovulation, contraception intake etc.) within the app and then see the correlation between daily activity, sleep patterns, and stress levels according to the day of the month. In terms of tracking your activity, we focus not only on the number of steps but on overall activity (and inactivity). As far as the sleep goes, we provide insight on your sleep patterns (light or deep) sleep and correlate that to everything else that is being tracked.2. Design - As being healthy and stylish never have to clash, we made sure the Leaf is the one perfect piece of jewelry that can fit all aspects of your everyday life. You can wear it as a bracelet, clip or necklace, and comes in two different but equally beautiful versions - Rose Gold and Silver. Itâs a health tracker made to fit and accentuate all the uniquely different women that chose to trust us with their health!3. Battery life - As we know continually having to remember to charge your tracker can make you frustrated, we wanted to make sure our users can enjoy their Leaf without any worry for up to 6 months. Once your battery expires, all you need to do is replace the battery with a fresh new one, and you can continue enjoying all your Leaf has to offer you!We really hope this makes your decision easier and we're here for you if there is anything else we can help you with.
