A4 Cinematic Lightbox Black Letters

This is cracking, only lights up which. Loads of emojis and double alphabet letters. Has a usb and battery's to operate. Got it for a birthday party. Really good quality, looks GR8 . Well worth the money.

My daughter has wanted one of these for ages since seeing one in a high-street clothing/homeware store. So, when I found this on Amazon for £4 cheaper but with the inclusion on emoji’s, I had to get it for her birthday. The lightbox looks and feels to be of good quality and arrived in a nicely decorated box exactly as described along with a USB cable to connect to any USB power source whether it be a phone/tablet charger, computer or even TV/digibox. If you prefer however, it can also be powered via 6 AA batteries. Provided are 63 letters with sensible repeats of the most used letters and 19 numbers, various 11 punctuation characters/symbols and 17 emoji’s / pictures and a handy tray to put them all in (see picture). The box measures 30cm wide x 22cm high and 5cm deep and can be stood on a flat surface or, hung via the two mounting holes on the rear. After looking at some of the negative reviews posted for this, I am confident that the seller/manufacturer has listened because the letters were in alphabetical order and covered in a protective film to prevent the scratches and sticking together that’s been previously complained about. It was a bit of a faff to remove the film but, as a tip - I carefully unfolded the sheet as per the picture and then started peeling from the top left downwards and across which worked out pretty effective. Also, when separating the letters, be sure to bend adjoining peices on the score a few times rather than being tempted to try just tearing them apart to prevent any damage. While the process of getting the letters ready did take some time and patience, it only needs to be done the once and if it prevents the damage issue mentioned by others, it’s extremely worthwhile and I for one am glad that the issues have been rectified. My daughter’s birthday isn’t for a few weeks yet but I know that she’s going to love it and would heartily recommend this to others.

A great little light box! Design 4/5 Feels a little flimsy and it's a little annoying that the mains connector is on the side (making it visible) rather than the back. However, the white box game with a white mains wire so I guess they realised their design flaw. Functionality 5/5 Works well with mains and I'm yet to try it with batteries. Easy to put the letters in and the LED bulbs provide a great back light! A little annoyed that the white box with mutlicolour letters didn't come with the remote is was said to have come with (will edit if resolved) other than that a great product and great gift for a creative/ artistic friend! To summarize the item seems to be of high quality with lots of letters, numbers and characters (even a little punctuation). I am going to purchase some of the additional symbols for even more flexibility. My grand children love it and it is a great tool to teach spelling as well as having fun. Anyway hope the video has come out okay. Here I will outline the good and the not so good: The Good - Lots of characters to play with and extra available to buy at reasonable cost - Comes with a USB cable to use a compatible mains adapter instead of batteries if needed - Includes a storage box for the characters and USB cable when not in use - Nice and bright - Timer function by switching to "II" position so it powers down automatically - Easy to follow instructions - Nice gift box The Not So Good - A little fiddly taking off all of the protective film from the characters. You only have to do this once however - You have to abbreviate some words due to lack of space. If this is an issue however, they do an even larger A3 size - I paid £17 for mine and they are even cheaper now - great for anybody buying now but not so good for me lol. I still think it is great value however even at the price I paid

Really pleased with this fun gadget which I bought for Christmas. Although it will run on batteries I chose this as it can be used via the USB lead enclosed in the box. The letters do have to be separated and a plastic film peeled off when it arrives but that doesn't take long. Then I sorted mine into alphabetical order to be stored in the box supplied. The box is quite long so it can accommodate the USB lead but I found it to be too long without that and the letters fall over when trying to sort through them. To get round this an old small slide storage box is perfect which also has a lid. I appreciate the supplied box is long so it can store the extra letters available to buy - maybe one or two divisions in it would be a good idea. However the products itself is fantastic. The letters slide in easily, the LED lights are bright and there is an on/off switch at the side. It has an eight hour timer to switch itself off which I have not tried myself. Can be wall mounted but it easily stands by itself anywhere on a flat surface.
