Bean Machine with Jelly Beans, 600 g

Ordered two for Christmas. One did not quite work properly. Managed to fix but I had already popped a note off explaining issue. Customer service and follow up just excellent..leaving a fabulous feel good factor. It does not work with any coin..10 p down.. Means I am not losing 50p and pounds to the machine - so fine for our household.It looks great... Net a very happy customer and children happy. The design..there is no mechanism to remove cash and recycle until beans are eaten...Means as of Jan 17th...both girls still have beans left. Happy with product..quality fair for the price..aesthetics great.. Yes probably better for an older child and stick with plastic machines for the very young.

Lovely machine! Was a gift for my husband. Item is well made & the jelly beans are lovely. It takes any coin but you can take the coin bit out of it if you prefer, but we like the novelty of putting a coin in! Came well packaged. Definitely would buy this again as a gift!

I bought this for my little sister for her birthday. Its not bad quality but I'm not sure it's worth the price; I would expect something like this to be more like £10 rather than £25. I hoped that rather than eat lots of sweets in one go, my 6 year old sister would be drip fed sweets... and this worked for an hour until she figured out how to to prise it open and eat everything in one go. In all fairness I was able to put it back together. Unfortunately when I topped it up with larger cheap jelly beans from Tesco, I learnt that it only works with small sized jelly beans. Another useful thing to know is that it is only possible to remove the coins by taking the whole thing apart with a spanner, whereas topping up the machine with jelly beans only requires a coin edge to unscrew the lid.

The box gives the impression of this being bigger but it's quite small. However it's an ideal size for putting on a desk. You can choose to use it as a money box and pay a coin in to receive jelly beans or you can work it so you can just turn the dial and get beans without the use of a coin. It's a nice novelty Jelly bean factory item and looks good. If you ever fancy a change you could always add other small sweets to it..for example m&m's or skittles.

Got this as a birthday present recently and I love it. Having to open it up and remove the pin that forced a coin be put inside to operate it didn't quite make sense to me but it was easy.People love grabbing a few beans whenever they come over for a visit but it's sometimes a bit daunting seeing it there on the kitchen counter calling out to me to just do one more swirl and grab a few delicious jelly beans.

I love the design, the option of requiring coins or not, and of course the jellz beans....My son love it, and would eat all of it in a sudden if he would not need a lot of coins to do that. Fortunately we can regulate the coin flow easier than the number of turning.....Super thing....

The machine's construction is too weak and has repeatedly broken in the short time since purchase. Specifically, the coin device doesn't control the dispensing of beans as the small metal keeper spring that stops the handle turning/dispensing continuously is too weak and as a result the beans are always freely available to small hands.Additionally the machine is held together by a screw bar that runs through the length of the dispenser, however, there is a small and flimsy circular grey plastic frame holding the glass in place and the machine. This plastic frame easily buckles and doesn't provide sufficient tension to hold the machine in the correct alignment. This results in 'play' and misalignment resulting in beans being squashed between the two plastic components that control the portion control.In sum the quality of the machine is very poor, and resulted in considerable disappointment for the kids.

Didn't work out of the box, and has been repaired twice.It is the internal mechanism which does not fit together well, looks and feels cheap.Not worth the money, flimsy and cheaply made.Jelly beans are good and the original gourmet beans.I am disapointed in the product
