Rockford Fosgate R165X3 Prime 6.5" Full-Range 3-Way Coaxial Speaker (Pair), black

Great speaker, paired them with an explode Sony head unit... fitted in an audi tt coverable... sound great with top both down and up. Had to modify existing mounts to fit, but I guess this will be the same for most door panel fitments.

I bought these to replace the cheap £15 JVC CS J410X speakers I bought last year. The JVCs were okay and obviously a lot better than the standard 28 year old dashboard speakers. However, these Rockford Fosgates are on a different level. Much more substantial in build and audio quality is great, especially when matched with a subwoofer. Great fit, behind the dashboard grilles and not too deep. I am sure there are probably better speakers out there for more money, but for just over fifty quid, I would recommend these to anybody, looking to upgrade.

Decent quality speakers at a good price - The sound is rich with good highs and Adequate bass, you are not going to get insane bass from a speaker of this size no matter how much you spend but overall they sound great and look well made. I have had many speakers over the years and out of ten i would say 7/10 for price and sound quality - They are ideal for adding a bit of balance and clarity to a 4 channel van system with a sub. I would recommend for value you cannot go wrong with rockford fosgates but if budget is not a problem then go for there Punch range.

These are great speakers either powered off the head unit or paired up to the Pioneer 4 channel in dash amp which is 45w RMS per channel so perfect for these speakers. They have a nice mid bass to them, not overpowering but definitely present, the mids and highs are pretty well balanced also never really sounding harsh or overly bright I would definitely buy again and would highly recommend them to anyone. I have them installed in my Seat Cordoba

Lovely little speaker, direct replacement on my Gen 5 Toyota Celica, next purchase will be the 6.5inch

A big difference from the stock speakers. Well worth the money.

Fitted to the front doors of a Fiat 500. I drilled some holes, in the door panel, added a layer of stick on rubber to the door side of the speaker ring and fitted it as seen in the picture. The outer rubber ring was then fitted on the interior side. Sound quality is better than the stock speaker. The speakers sound louder and brighter and less harsh than the stock speaker.

Mid and upper range is beutiful with much better clarity . From the description I expected better bass but its probably not as good as the original VW speakers . They were put in by an expert fitter with regard to setting them in a firm holding so that's not the problem . I would recommend using these as primary speakers but you will need secondary with emphasis on bass

Rockford Fosgate have always been a solid brand. The audio from these speakers is no different. It's solid. Don't expect big bass as these are not component speakers. These are an excellent replacement for the stock speakers if you just want something a bit louder, clearer, and maybe a bit more depth in the frequencies that you're hearing. All in all, would recommend for a stock replacement if you don't have an amp or full sound system. If you're looking for more bass, look into component speakers and run them from an amp.
