Olson SA4950 18-Pinned Scroll Blades

Haven’t use them very much. But they seem very good quality, and from the little practice I have had appear to be more controllable than my previous “budget” blades. In this instance it looks like you get what you pay for.

Good blades

Brought these to use with my jet scroll saw and im very happy. Ive used them with different wood types and even alloy plate. Im pretty impressed with how they stand up to be honest. The blades cut very well and seem to have a good wear resistance the pins unlike other blades ive tried actualy stay in the blades which is nice. Theres a nice variety of blades in the pack with different tpi sizes so they cover a wide range of cutting from fairly straight cuts right down to extra hard very tight cuts. The pack is also priced very well.

Do the job really well, as expected.

Love these scroll saw blades they are great quality blades and offer a nice clean cut. I find the price to be very good considering how well made they are, I expect these to last me a while. Top quality blades. Do what they should and long lasting.

Bought these for a monster industrial scroll saw, which popped the pins out of a couple of blades. I suspect this says more about the scroll saw, so can't really judge the blades on this experience...

Great price and value

I have a Ryobi scroll saw that is about 20 years old that still works very well. However it has been getting harder and harder to find any scroll saw blades, especially pin ends, locally. When you can find them they can cost $5-6 dollars for a 4 pack. At under $10 for an 18 pack these Olson blades are a great value for the money. I have found them to be just as durable and cut as well as any other brand I have used. With any blade improper tension, speed, or choice of blade for the material being cut can lead to problems including frequent breakage- this is usually operator error not a defect with the blade itself. I have cut wood of varying species and thicknesses from 1/8” to 2” as well as pvc and plexi with Olson blades and had no problems beyond expected normal wear. I will have no problem buying them again.
