16 pcs Watch Repair Tool Kit Strap Screwdriver Fix Problem Link Remover Back Opener Band Adjustment

I bought this as a back-up for a metal watch bracelet pin remover I had ordered because it had two options for removing pins and also other useful watch repair/maintenance items. As it turned out, the metal pin remover tool broke all 5 of its pin remover heads without releasing one pin. I turned to this back-up without a lot of hope since the pin remover was in a cheap plastic frame with only one pin remover head (I had three watch bracelets to remove links from so that the bracelets would fit my wrist). It released 8 pins in all as I made the adjustments (then readjustments). I needed the long nose plyers in this kit to pull the pins out of the links once they were released, then the jewler's hammer and plastic grid from the kit to replace the pins into the adjusted bracelet. It was a lot harder than I thought and I could not have done it without this kit. A bargain for this price.

This arrived today, so i used it straight away. In fact i ordered it as due to Covid all the shops were shut. There is no doubt its cheap. There are a couple of plastic pieces which i would imagine will not stand up to much use. However the bits i did want, back remover, small screw drivers and tiny pliers, are good for the job and worked well. Considering a battery replacement is close to a tenner, its good value for money and with numerous videos online, its easy to replace most watch batteries.

Immediately on receipt I replaced two watch batteries, which would have cost my £4 each plus a trip into the city and back, more than double what I paid for the set. Obviously the quality is not top notch but everything works and each item seems to do what it's supposed to. If you want something to pop in a draw and use occasionally I think this would be a reliable purchase. Very good price and a seemingly workable item. Would recommend.

The best thing about this is the price but that's about it. It's cheap looking and cheaply made. The tool for adjusting watchstraps broke after the second use. Tool for unscrewing the backs off watches is better made but again not sure how long it will last. Tools come sitting in a plastic tray - no case - so once the packet is opened you risk losing everything. Some instructions may also be useful. Despite all that it saved a visit to a jewelers to adjust a watchstrap.

It is what it is nice set for the price & does the job & that’s all you need , not a high end set by any means. Like I said will do what you want it to do

Was given a Citizen (mans) watch with a steel bracelet which needed adjusting. Watch a YouTube video about removing links so decided to do it myself given the low cost of the tools vs high charge in the high street to get links removed. Simple to use. Quickly removed a couple of links and reattached . Just follow the video. Also found the knife for opening the back of another watch very handy - used it in order to replace battery (always use a quality battery eg SONY). For the price you can't go wrong.

I had purchased a new watch and needed to take several links out of the stainless steel bracelet. I looked at various offerings on the web and selected this on price and selection of tools offered. The kit contains a good variety of necessary tools the bulk of which were good quality and only a couple of miniature screwdrivers that were of a quality to be found in a Christmas cracker but they would probably do the job. The kit did exactly what I needed and, as such, presented excellent value for money.great

I needed to remove links in a new watch, this was the cheapest set I could find and did the job. I also removed the back cover to replace a battery. The cover I couldn’t replace and ended up buying a clamp too. It’s not the best quality but does the job and worth the money!

The quality is not very high but given the cheap price it's worth a buy for anyone who needs basic repair tools. I will probably use it again in 5-10 years when one of my watches requires a battery change.
