This colour mix is ideal for ageing a project or muting a bright white background.
Delivery seemed a little long winded, but I guess this is only because I am used to Prime next day. The item is just what I expected from Tim Holtz products. This colour mix is ideal for ageing a project or muting a bright white background.

which seems better, but still not amazing
This review is based on how these stamp pads performed on rubber stamps, acrylic stamps, and the Ranger mini blender tool. As well as these, the quality of packaging etc is taken into account. The packaging is minimal and informative, and the lids on the stamps fit perfectly and stack well.In one of my attached pictures, the top stamp is with a rubber stamp. I pressed the stamp down then wiped it lightly on the stamp surface and I got this blotchy effect with most attempts, which is not ideal. The next row is using an acrylic stamp, which seems better, but still not amazing. The reason I give this product four stars despite this is the performance using the blending tool, which is what I bought it for specifically. The colours blend well using the appropriate tool. This product suits my needs and the colours and quality of make are excellent. I have also attached a closeup of the back of the pack and of the stamps themselves for clearer viewing.

The perfect colours.
After cashing in my Rewards points from 2 of the 3 online survey Co's i'm with, i had a nice total of £50 to spend. So i claimed Amazon E vouchers. It took several days for me to decide what to buy, (as i have several Wish List's), and this was part of my lil shopping spree. 😉I paid £6.45 for this set.I made my total order of 11 items on Feb 28th '14, and the Tim Holtz inks (and 2 sets of Spellbinders Dies) arrived today.I tried them all out later on in the afternoon.I've heard soooo much about Tim Holtz products over the years but this is my first set of his inks i have purchased. I chose to buy a mini set, as i think this is the best way to test these inks without having to commit to a colour your not keen on if you were to buy a full size one.So far, so good, but i did only stamp a small image using 2 of the colours. They give a nice clear image when stamped, but as for using them as sprays, smudging & blending i haven't tried any of those techniques so far.

Love these
I love these distress inks they are only mini ink pads but they go a long way they blend really well, react great to water. It doesn't dry straight away but that's perfect for blending and distressing. And best bit is I dont have to buy new pads as you can purchase refills which is better for the envelopes
