These dumbbell bars are well made can't fault the quality. Like others have said the neck is a bit thin and the plates can slip over it as mine did. To remedy this I bought M24 steel washers and the problem is sorted. If you are going to be adding serious weight then I would suggest two washers on each end giving you a total of 8 washers. I saw one review where the buyer complained about them being dangerous because of oil/grease on them. This is common practice when selling these kind of goods and any equipment I've bought has been coated and needed cleaning before use so ignore that as a fault for these bars. The feel of the bar in your hand is just right as some can be too thick and feel cumbersome to hold. They look and feel like a quality product unlike other bars on the market for a higher price tag. I'd happily recommend these bars to anyone in the market for them as there is a good quality to price ratio and with a simple remedy as suggested they can be even better.

These rods are good quality,well made items.I particularly like the ergonomic hand grip area which makes them comfortable with heavier discs.The spinlock collars allow convenient disc fitting. One point to bear in mind,if you choose the one inch option, make sure you only use one inch discs because the flange at the hand grips is not wide enough to allow secure fixing of 29mm discs.

The bars are a good weight and feel quality. The spin locks are good too. They weigh about 1.6kg each with spin locks. Some plates I have seem to slip over so washers are essential.

Very nice and sturdy. Weights remain fixed in place with the nuts not shifting. Would recommend. Also the bars are quite weighty themselves given that they are so solidly made. Grip handles are great too. Delivery was swift and the packaging was secure.

Nicely made bars. The spin locks fit perfectly . Not much else to say. Good buy.

I bought my first 20KG Proiron Dumbells from Amazon in Nov 2016 for £37.99. Great quality set and a pleasure to use. Thanks to Covid and corporate greed, the same set now costs £79.99. Not to worry though as I only needed another set of dumbbell bars. I go back to Proiron for the quality. However they are nowhere near as good. Obvious dilution of steel. Now the alloy is warm to the touch (not the cold steel of the originals). They are about 200 grams lighter each as a result and the finishing on the lock nuts is closer to roughcast. Let’s hope they last… Not buying Proiron again though.
