Ideal for 2 year old
The toddler this was bought for loved it. As with all Melissa and Doug toys, excellent quality. Can’t remember if it stated in description but batteries are not included. You need 2AAA.

Fun and educational
We bought this as a 2nd birthday present for our younger grandson . He loves it - the colours , the shapes and the sounds fascinate him . I can almost hear his cogs whirring when watching him play with it , and his (older) sister also likes it . Altogether a great result , thank you - highly recommended .

Nice simple puzzle
Nice quality, simple puzzle which plays a short nursery rhyme when each piece is lifted.At first I didn't think the sound worked on ours, but after a few days it started to play nursery rhymes. The sensors inside each part are quite small and I think there may have been a little dust left from manufacturing that affected this, so it may be worth checking this if you have a problem.Overall it has lasted quite well. The finish has now peeled back on some of the edges but we have had it for a very long time, and it still works well.

Good quality. Interactive.Would be better incentive for my child if the sound happened when pieces were placed in as opposed to taken out? She seems to enjoy it nonetheless.

Doesn't work
Second product to purchase after Emma Hubbard recommended for toddlers but not worth it sadly. It doesn't play and is faulty. Very expensive too for an unusable toy!
