Brilliant product, no more wires showing and it's big enough for a six gang extension lead. Only downside it's more expensive than others but I wanted to make sure it took the extension lead.

I'm really pleased with this, and may buy more for my other rooms. It's simple, but it does make my power bar look much neater. Having read the other reviews, I was concerned about the size, and bought the smallest six-way power adapter I could find at the same time (no surge protector). That adapter actually fits with lots of room to spare, and a fancier adapter of mine with a surge protector and USB sockets also just about squeezes in. My old-style airport express fits in the box, which I was relieved about. The box does look pretty big, but it blends into the skirting boards, and light things can be stacked on top of it.

Underneath my desk would look a mess without it. This is another igneous cable management solution it allows you to gather the excess of your power cables an neatly conceal them in a stylish box that can blend in or stand out depending on how you arrange it. Size: An issue i read about when deciding whether or not to buy this was that it was too small to house a significant number of UK power outlets. I currently have an 8 socket surge protector installed in the box that is not exceptionally slim, just plain standard. i also have eight devices plugged in and the only thing that had that had to be done due to resistant flexes was that it had to be slightly angled as it couldn't sit flat. The lid closed without hesitation and if anything this prevented any heat being transferred to the carpet. Ensure to : check the dimensions of the box against those of your surge protector (extension lead) and if within this dimensions it should fit without a problem I highly recommend this product.

I use this box to house a mass of computer cables, a USB hub, and an external hard drive used for Time Machine backups. For this purpose it is excellent and allows me keep my desk a lot tidier in terms of cabling. I would agree with other reviewers that the width means that any 6/8 plug socket would just fit not leaving much room for larger plug adapters which is why I've rated it four stars. For my use however it is perfect. If you want to use smaller gangways, or use it like I have, this is a great way of keeping things together, out of sight, and less dusty.

Very good quality and a good size. I packed a lot of cable in this on top of the 8 plug socket. Worth the extra as it’s not cheap plastic like other cheaper versions look.

Bought this to house my 8 way surgemaster plug. It's nowhere near big enough. The marketing claims that it'll house nearly any adapter, but clearly it doesn't. That may be the case in the US where the plugs are smaller and the cable often point straight out/upright. The only extension lead that this box is suitable is the 'single row of sockets' type. Very few adapters of this type are longer than 4 ways. Making this a very expensive way of tidying up just 4 sockets. Truth be told, its not even that much tidier, as the cables still trail across the floor, and the box itself is really nothing special. Its just a smooth plastic box at the end of the day. Its certainly not a revolutionary piece of furniture. Expensive and disappointing. I don't understand the rave reviews on here.?? **Update** Ok so I found a single strip 6 socket lead and have just used this in the cable box instead. To be fair it does look much tidier now, but the box is rammed with cabling and power bricks etc.. Hopefully the heat etc. won't be too much of a problem.? I've moved my (rather expensive) belkin surgemaster extension lead behind the TV instead. I'm feeling more generous so I'll promote it from 1 star to 3 stars. Its still way too expensive though. This should be c.£10-15.

piece of equipment. I got it to hide the wires from my broadband, tv and phone sockets. It looks quite neat behind the unit. Well worth the money but be careful it is bigger than I imagined.

It may just be a plastic box with holes at either end but it has tidied up the unsightly plugs and cables around my desk which has pleased me no end! It may be a little pricey but to me was worth it.

La capacidad es muy buena. He llegado a meter una regleta de 6 tomas con interruptor, un montón de cables enrollados, tres fuentes de alimentación y aún me sobra algo de espacio dentro de ella. El acabado es bueno y bastante elegante, más si lo comparamos con la maraña de cables que tenía en casa.

Excellent quality and size is much larger and enough for big adapters and broad two row multi sockets. I use this undet my workstation table to pack chargers , adapters and all extra cables and a big Belkin multi socket with two rows. It still leaves space for those pin which are long and push out laterally.

Sturdy with a good design and just the right size for organising the cables under our study desk. Lid is easy to remove for changing configuration of cables but also stays in place, even if cables are pulled.

I have bought 3 of these because they are so good. What do I like about them versus the others? They aren't flimsy like others. They don't bulge so you can really cram a lot of folded wires in. The lid locks on tightly so there isn't a risk of it popping off, especially, again, if you're cramming it full of folded wires. It is also wide. Most power bars are rather wide so you need something just as long. And lastly it is clean looking. It is more expensive than others but I expect this to last for ages, so I don't mind spending on a quality product.
