What is the max. height (from the ground) that this engine hoist can lift?

It lifts quite high. The max. is about seven feet.

What is the full extension length of the arm?

On my crane, when the black sliding boom is fully extended (at the 1/2 ton position), the full length of the boom is approximately 57 in.

How much weight can the engine hoist lift?

I used this and was able to lift a 1.5l from a Honda civic, probably only rated somewhere between 500-750lb. It's supposed to handle up to 4,0000 lbs. It seemed to lift the small engine easily. There are different bolt settings for the weight, just make sure everything is tight and secure.

Great deal for what its intended for.

This is a great product. It has helped me with multiple engine jobs and i have not had a single issue. Easy to put together. Only issue is had was a few scratches and chipped paint, but I would say it was due to the delivery driver. Ultimately it is for garage work and not a show piece so im ok with it. I would recommend this to anyone. It is worth this price for home mechanics.

Horrible

Piss poor directions I stripped out bolts on the wheels when I put in wrong place now I can not use. Photo below is the whole instructions. I am going to have to return…

Pretty good

Seemingly great quality, but an instruction manual would have been nice to say which bolts are meant to go where. One of the bolt holes didn't quite align correctly also

Great Engine Hoist

I looked around for awhile for a good hoist. Thought about the HF hoist but this was much cheaper. It’s the literal same hoist just without the “Pittsburg” logo. Works flawlessly. Take yr time putting it together and it will work perfectly. Tried it on my 318 and it was a breeze. Easy peazy.
