Sci-mx is my favourite protein shake. This one is awesome, it fluffs up really nicely making it smooth and super tasty!

60 Seconds to a great tasting shake
Great shake with all the right ingredients. It's super easy to make in 60 seconds with cold water. It's a little bitty, but that's how good meal replacement shakes are like. If they're not bitty, they probably don't contain the right stuff or have too much sugar.

Pleasant taste and does the job
Used to use another highly reviewed brand's chocolate flavour and was so put off by how vile it tasted and how much it tasted of artificial sweetener that I was quite hesitant to buy this. However, it's surpassed expectations and tastes pleasant. Powder doesn't always break down properly after shaking, but tastes fine and does the job of keeping me full.

Leaves you hungry...
I purchased this to use as directed; as a meal replacement once a day, along with regular exercise sessions. The problem is compared to previous shakes I've used, it left me hungry and didn't make me last from lunch (the shake) until dinner; I had to balance with a cup of green tea to stop the pangs, which I've not had with previous mixes.The taste isn't too bad; it tastes much like artificial strawberry shakes do, although the aftertaste did come as a surprise. It's best to mix it in a blender or blender bottle, otherwise it is quite grainy. It doesn't clump though like some powders do, which is a good point, as is the price for the size of tub.If you're looking for a replacement shake that fills you from lunch til dinner, this isn't it if you make it as directed (one scoop to 300ml water); double that maybe would, but obviously this means more calories and going through the tub faster.Think I'll stick with the PhD Diet Whey I used before this (thick shakes even with water, I make one scoop to 300ml water and by dinner I'm not really hungry so have less; the choc mint tastes just like melted icecream!).

Why has it gone up so much
I love this product and have used it for the past few years, but I have had to change to another brand as this has gone up so much recently and makes it not worth it.

If you make it the same way I've explained above it will make it taste like a strawberry milkshake! I bought this as I work night shift and losing weight combined with night shift is a nightmare because naturally when we're tired we tend to crave junk food. I've tried protein drinks before but just couldn't take the taste. I've changed from eating crisps, sandwiches and chocolate on my break to having this drink and a banana or Apple. It gives me enough energy to get through my shift and I don't feel hungry for a good 4 hours. It's also saving me a lot of money considering I only have to use half a scoop each time.

Only 1 star not 5 Amazon! Tastes terrible now and has more than doubled in price recently. DO NOT BUY! DISGUSTING!
