This product worked for me this year. Last year I had a swallows nest above my bedroom window which caused quite a bit of mess where the cars were parked. When they had vacated the nest I took it down and cleaned the area. Other neighbours had pinned up plastic bags but I did not like the look of that so I opted for this product. It was easy to install with the given sticky pads and screws. You can use one or the other but I opted for both for security. I like how the product can be adjusted for size depending on your peak. I can recommend this product.

This is a very simple and effective solution. The house martins won't be able to adhere mud to the plastic, meaning no more bird mess over our porch. My neighbour fitted it for me as there was no way I was going to climb twenty odd feet up a ladder. It will be interesting to see what happens next spring.

I have not used this as yet as we still have young in the swallow nest (very late) but looks excellent for the job of fitting in the eaves when I can get the occupants out.

House Martins deterrent. The other ones that overlapped into the eave were much better but not available now.

Had ‘problems’ with Swallows the last few years. It’s not so much the birds but the mess they leave on the window sills. Took down last years nests in April and installed these in the eaves. Use the screws along with the double sided tape as the tape won’t be enough on its own. Expensive for what they are but no Swallows this year so I’m very happy. They went next door instead, sorry.

I bought four of these in early April but didn't want to review them until I knew whether they actually worked or not. Well they worked brilliantly, the swallows didn't nest at any of the four points. I have used several other methods to prevent the nests in previous years, none of which worked so I was delighted that these do. The swallows are still building nest in our barns which we don't mind at all but I hated the mess they created over the house. Good product, hope it survives the winter and lasts for a few years.
