fantastic book. the book is a step by step guide to carving wood spirits and the detail on how to carve an indepth image. I cant wait to start as ive read the book already from front to back. on a slight negative feedback the book took longer to arrive than indicated. it arrived 2 days after the last expected date. 18/2/15

Having dipped my toe into carving wood spirit walking sticks, I decided I wanted to try something different. This is a great little book to enable you to do just that. Lovely illustrations and easily read. Wonderful to just flick through and try various projects.

Bought as a gift. Good book with some very good patterns in the back

I dipped into this and worked on a couple of images, it waqs only when I attempted the main project that the strength of the step by step instructions were clear. A great book.

this is a book for beginners or intermediate carvers, true, most of it is concerned with carving the wood spirit found on the cover but the techniques and tips that the author goes into in such detail will be useful in any future carving project a budding carver will undertake. it is really a 'how to carve' book, not full of pics of 'stuff i carved before'

comme à l'habitude ce livre explique pas à pas pour sculpter ce sujet . Les photos suffisent pour comprendre la façon de chaque opération pour réussir le sujet. A conseiller au débutants et aux gens confirmés. pas besoin de connaitre l'Anglais.
