MSR Alpine Stowaway Hiking Pan

Brilliant, I purchased for my ever increasing EDC kit and I am not disappointed, it is well built and well spacious, I have yet to use this out in the open and do not expect to have any problems, I hope to go out in the next week or so and will add another review and photos then, As you know this is the 1100 Ml version and it fits a few things that are very usefull for when you are out and about, I will now be purchasing the 1600 Ml version, As you can see from my photos I have / TEA COFFEE MUG MINTS SALT AND PEPPER MIX FIRE KIT Overall I am well chuffed and think you will be too if you purchase this item.

Quality pot, love how it closes securely - you can also make a hobo hanging system with a wire hanger you pick up from your dry cleaners (look it up on YouTube). A little heavy as compared to the titanium alternatives out there, but I prefer a solid stainless steel construction which retains heat better. Spent a week using it on a Firebox woodstove which made it completely black, but the soot come right off with a bit of scrubbing. Only downside is that it can fold on itself if you pour liquid at too much of an angle. A+

Compact Robust Easy to use and clean Very pleased

Beautiful product and surprisingly light! I particularly like the design of the pot - shallow and wide base for a better overall cooking experience. You could cook real meals in this little pot and not just boil eggs and rehydrate packet food. I would have given 5 stars, only the pot had a small indentation on the base of the pan. This doesn't pose a great concern to me and wouldn't be indicative of the Stowaway - this is just a purely minor complaint. Although, I have yet to cook in it - on first impressions, I would recommend this product!

Super Pot!

Item arrived earlier than expected, I would recommend this seller, the pot is robust and well up to cooking on open fires and Cookers of all kinds, I do think it's a little expensive but if I am still using it in 20 years it would have paid for itself

Used a few different pots/pans and accessories in the past, but this is a quality pot. Feels solid and robust, and the 775ml version is just the right size and diameter for 1-person on a hiking trip. Unless you're into fine cuisine, you won't need to take another pot with you. Sits nicely on the Lixada portable stainless steel lightweight woodgas stove, and when broken down the stove fits inside this pot perfectly.

775ml stainless cookpot that perfectly fits my lixada (solo-stove copy) wood gas stove inside it while the stove is still in it's carry bag. Excellent closure using a clip and the integrated carry handle to keep everything inside and top quality as you would expect from the brand. I have no complaints about this, if you're thinking about it, just go for it. I doubt you will regret it.

Goed en (hopelijk) onverwoestbaar pan. Ik gebruik hem ook voor benzinebrander en kampvuur.

Well madeof heavier gauge steel; so not ideal for lightweight backpackers, but PERFECT for car camping! I bought both the 1.1L pot, as well as the 800ml. The smaller pot fits inside the larger with space to pack a small sove around it. I really appreciate the locking lid feature. Great gear!

Awesome little pot!!! I keep it in the warmer at work and my food stays hot and ready for feast at lunch. Also great for camping or hiking etc. Also very easy to warm up food on portable gas stoves etc. Lid seals nice & tight eliminating spills with stews etc. Maybe I'll buy a couple more. Great gift idea that will be used for many years to come.
