Great introduction
Clear concise and succint. Perfect for someone that has an interest in the subject but didn't want to trawl through 100s of pages of philosophical debate. This presents what you need to have a passing knowledge and gives you enough to Google/ponder later.

Great work!
This was quite an interesting work on Philosophy of Science, a interesting subject which should really be more well known, as so many assume that Science and philosophy have no relation. In the short space of the book a lot of different material is covered, from logical empiricism to realism vs anti-realism to philosophical issues that pertain to specific scientific disciplines. My only criticism is that the discussion Karl Popper somewhat simplified his philosophy.

Superb
This book is brilliant. I read it because it was recommended as a book that could change your way of seeing the world. It is without doubt inspiring and enlightening. And it does show up some of the common nonsensical attitudes that surround us these days. It is also easy to read and clearly written. I thoroughly recommend it.

Perfect introduction to the philosophy of science
I picked up this volume in the “Very Short Introductions” series and was amazed how clear, concise and thorough The Philosophy of Science is. The book is organized and written in a way that makes both simple and complex subjects easy to grasp. The author, Samir Okasha, is careful not to prejudice the reader with his own views. He presents issues and debates in a fair, evenhanded manner. Very highly recommended.
