Spyderco SPY-204UF1 Tri-Angle Ultra Fine Stone-White, Small

This is my first spyderco stone, and I am pretty impressed, Immediately I took it to a straight razor around the HHT1 in sharpness, With around 50 strokes randomly each side this took it straight up to HHT3 or there abouts, Following this with a strop took it up another notch. Just for trial purposes I just took this dry to my seven day growth in a fairly cold room, no pulling, no popping sounds just a clean shave. Very impressive for this antique razor.I do not have the spyderco sharp system, I bought this stone to test the stone quality, I will be testing this next by rigging it to polish a zdp stretch and see how far this alone takes it. It's already a high polish edge from other stones but not this high a grit.

Very expensive & pointless. The fine grit in the set is very fine. This is akin to the final polish but use the knife once & it's lost the little this gives. So with that being said, don't waste your money

A very nice addition to the sharpmaker system, has taken my edges to the next level (with a little stropping afterwards of course)!

Per molti anni ho usato con molta soddisfazione un affilatore Spyderco con la dotazione standard. La rifinitura era demandata a una coramella. Il tisultato finale era soddisfacente, ma non al livello di un'affilatura fatta sulle pietre, fino alla 8000. Non altrettanto efficace, sicuramente meno duratura. Queste pietre ultrafini si sono rivelate l'uovo di Colombo: comode e rapide da usare, molto più di quelle tradizionali, capaci di dare risultati se non pari almeno paragonabili a quelle e migliori della coramella. Last but not least, adeguate anche per l'affilatura dei tenacissimi acciai inox moderni, dalle durezze altissime. Unica nota dolente il prezzo, a mio giudizio ingiustificatamente più alto di quello usuale negli Stati Uniti.

The stones them selves are awesome but the storage tubing could be a little more sturdy.

This is a great addition to the Spyderco Sharpmaker. However I feel that most knives don’t need and won’t benefit from this high degree of honing. However, if you have a knife made from good quality steel that will hold a sharp edge this stone works great.I am disappointed that the seller doesn’t sell these in a pair. It’s like selling one sock! This makes the listing misleading. I know it only shows one stone but I thought I was ordering a pair. I had to place a second order for the other half of the pair. It’s a cheap tactic by the sell to make the price look lower than it is.

Spyderco para mí es una marca de prestigio y de alta gama en navajas cuchillos y hoy compruebo que sus piedras son de alta calidad también, luego que la recibí la probé para asentar el filo de una cold steel tuff lite que uso diario y con solo 3 pasadas la tuff lite quedó como navaja de rasurar de nuevo!!Como siempre Spyderco me dejo más que contento, Sorprendido con la chair a de cerámica!!
