It holds its temperature beautifully without losing its chill after 10 minutes like cheaper alternatives. Safe & Comfortable Body Contouring: Even when frozen solid, the gel remains incredibly pliable, meaning it molds perfectly to your body instead of feeling like an awkward brick. Because it gets so intensely cold, it is best to use it wrapped in a towel to protect your skin, which also helps distribute the cooling perfectly. The durable material feels incredibly heavy-duty and leak-proof. Brilliant. Really does the job and keeps you cool

Two pack is ideal for hot and ice treatment of injuries. Decent size packs mean that I could cover the whole calf area easily. If you need to wrap around smaller areas you may need to pre-shape when freezing. Frozen pack lasts at least 30 minutes but heat pack is probably only 20 minutes, so don't buy if you're planning to use as hot water bottle! Those timings are ideal for injury treatments. I microwave on full power for 2 minutes. The covers are also very good to prevent burns and do protect the skin well - far easier than towels. Using twice a day I've not noticed any drop in performance or issues with seams. Good value.

This was definately a good buy. I tried it cold after being in the fridge. It was lovely but a little unusual.

These are some fab hot and cold packs, I've tried other ones from supermarkets that have beads inside but they are a little useless when it comes to staying cold, they also tend to be scented which is not what you want when you need a cold pack! This is great when you or your family have a fever, a headache, an injury which needs icing, etc, or a pain which needs heat to help ease it. The pack freezes very quickly in around an hour or two, it then stays cold for at least 2-3 hours, maybe longer. It does come out of the freezer very hard and not flexible, but moving it around with your hands quickly makes it break up a little and becomes flexible, allowing you to mould it round the body part that requires the cold. It also heats up very quickly and stays hot for a considerable amount of time, however I bought these more as cold packs and therefore know more about using them cold. The sleeve is useful as this means the pack is not directly on your skin, however it reality it is still extremely cold with the sleeve. We have been wrapping it in an old shirt, over the sleeve, when first used to take some of the cold away. After about half an hour, it's fine with just the sleeve. Maybe we have a super cold freezer though! I definitely recommend this and think I will be buying another couple when I have the funds, I can then have two in the freezer at all times and two ready to be heated. I really do recommend these and they are a great price, considering that you get two packs.

Keeps my feet cool at night.

These are great for isolating specific injuries or areas of soreness. You can leave them in the provided sleeves for a super-freeze, which I like, or double it up with a T-shirt or piece of clothing. I use them over my shoulders to help treat reoccurring rotator cuff tendonitis and also on the elbow joint for tennis elbow. If I have been to the gym in the evening I sometimes lie one down the length of the quads on each leg in order to help cool them down before bed - I sometimes have trouble sleeping if my legs are feeling well worn and I'll get restless legs and start clashing them together like seal flippers in the night. These help a lot with that, as well as a cool shower. They take a small amount of melting when you get them out of the freezer initially as you won't be able to bend them properly when fully frozen. I would say, BE CAREFUL not to force them to bend too much when they're still frozen, this can cause them to split and you'll be covered in bloody embryonic alien gunk which is no doubt harmful. I've previously had the larger square koolpaks which felt great to really cool down the whole shoulder area but often felt wasted as they were harder to contour to the body - once slightly melted though it felt like a big friendly ice cold jellyfish. I tend to lay on my side or back and weigh them down with a water bottle to make them more effective. All in all - many, many times more effective than those useless refillable ice bladder type things. Would recommend.

I'm really pleased with this physio pack and keep it in the fridge permanently. Following a couple of operations, I suffer with pain in my legs after exercising sometimes and use this to cool the muscles. It is large and quite heavy, so is only suitable for use on large areas, but it is pliable, so can be wrapped around an arm or leg. It stays cold and is therefore, great for sports injuries or any strained muscles. I haven't tried heating it as I have a wheat bag for that and I'm not sure how well it would heat, as it always feels cold even out of the fridge, but if you need a cold compress with some weight behind it, you won't go far wrong with this. It's great value for money.

ottimo prodotto, utilizzato per molto tempo in aiuto alla terapia del ginocchio. durevole e ben fatto, fare solo attenzione a non piegarlo con troppa forza quando è completamente freddo per non rovinare le sigillature.

Pack acheté après une opération au ménisque. Je trouve que taille est adaptée au genou qu'il épouse parfaitement et qu'il est idéal pour soulager l'inflammation. Rentre bien au congélateur et conserve le froid assez longtemps. Je place un tissu dessous pour éviter le contact du pack avec la peau. Cela fait maintenant 2 ans que je l'utilise par exemple après une randonnée.

très satisfait, la bonne grandeur, comme chez mon kinésithérapeute, marche très bien dans le micro ondes, vraiment à conseiller à toutes les personnes qui ont besoin de chaud ou froid merci
