Great service and great plant.
Ordered some Christmas java moss for my new aquarium. It came very well packaged. After a quick wash, I put it in the tank where it seems to be doing great. Fantastic service from a smaller vendor after the mighty Amazon messed up the rest of my order. Happy to leave them a glowing review and recommend them to anyone looking for some aquatic plants.

Dead
Moss is dead and mostly brown and falling apart and made a mess in my tank

So much better than the place in Lincolnshire that do ponds
So I got some of this from the place in Lincolnshire for ponds and it was about as bad as you cou get. For starters it had a snail 🐌 in the bag with the moss! Not even eggs that might be really hard to see but an actual live snail. It was all dead within a week as well. To make matters worse I tried to put that in a review but my review was blocked! This on the other had total opposite end of the scale regarding quality. Absolute top notch - it is only moss it shouldn't be that hard - no creepy crawlies and it's been in the tank for a month now . Keep in mind that I don't know what I'm doing yet it's still survived and it's a lovely bright green. Will absolutely be using these again.

Worth it, if it's spreads
Didn't get a lot but still half of it is practically dead. Was green when arrived but died quickly, it is quite difficult to kill so doubt it was my end

Healthy moss
Worth the price as it is heathy moss and did not die in the first few days and has survived for months even when not in a fish tank and just in a pot of water

BROWN =/= DEAD
I’ve seen a lot of people write negative reviews because it turned up brown, and a lot of people said that was helpful, but the brown part is NOT DEAD. Part of the plant doesn’t receive light so it doesn’t produce chlorophyll, the compound that photosynthesis. Chlorophyll is also what makes plants green, it reflects green light because the plant doesn’t need it to grow, and when the brown part of the moss is exposed to light it starts producing chlorophyll for photosynthesis and continues to grow, but the plant is slow growing anyway, so you might not notice straight away

Should have read the reviews
Item arrived green and stupidly I assumed it would be pest free : it had white spot and killed half my fish before I managed to control. First white spot in thirty years so lesson leant. However it’s been in tank for several weeks and just turned brown.

Arrived quickly, well packed and healthy looking, had a good look and couldn’t see any stowaways either
