Stanley Fatmax Open Tote Bag

I've waited a little while before writing this to get some good use of it. I'm a relatively avid diy-er, and wanted a solid tool box which didn't require endless rummaging around. I use this as a general DIY toolbox which comfortably holds everything I might generally need for the majority of standard tasks, with extra room to chuck in any additional tools, drills, etc. as needed. There are some nice little touches which work really well - tape measure clip, hand saw pocket (I've been using this recently for a square), straps for longer spirit levels, side pockets which can carry bit sets, stud/cable finders, multimeters, etc. very well, along with space for pens/pencils. I've used all of these pockets/areas and they all work well. It is very well built and the base is really solid, which means that it copes well with the weight of tools that are being carried, but also - this doesn't go anywhere or tip over when thrown into the boot of the car. The handle feels completely solid and is a comfortable carry. The shoulder strap is a nice addition too and works well. My favourite thing with this is that it's really easy to see what tools are where, and makes them extremely easy to access. I was always forever rummaging around for a specific tool in old toolboxes, but now everything is easy to find and access. The internal straps are solid and so far, seem to easily hold the vast majority of hand tools in all shapes and sizes. I've had this for about six months now and have given it some fair use in that time, and it still feels pretty much new, so I'm confident that it holds its own. I've seen people in trade using this which was another reason I went for this and it reassured me of its robustness, so hopefully it continues to live up to expectations. In short, I settled on this after a bit of research and I have been pleasantly surprised. It has done everything I'd hoped for and more, and if I ever lost this - I'd buy another. I wanted to buy a bag to carry maintenance items, keeping them separate from my main tool bag. This tote bag is ideal for maintenance work. All contents are easily accessible, and there are many useful pockets and bands that make organising the bag simple. It comes with a strap, so you can carry it via the main handle or over your shoulder. The bag is comfortable to use either way. The quality is great for the price.

I love it now it is a bit small for carpenter it will not fit a normal sized hand saw but the velcro straps on the front / top is grate for it verry sturdy i accidentally tood in the metal handle and it took my wait and love the shoulder strap

J’ai acheté ce sac à outils parce que je commence à m’intéresser à la mécanique et au bricolage, et je voulais un truc solide pour transporter mes outils. Franchement, je suis super content de mon choix. Le sac est bien grand, avec pas mal de poches à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur, donc on peut vraiment organiser ses outils comme on veut. Il reste bien ouvert quand on le pose, ce qui est super pratique pour attraper rapidement ce dont on a besoin sans devoir tout sortir. La qualité est vraiment au rendez-vous. Le tissu est épais, les coutures sont solides, et la base rigide en plastique protège bien quand on le pose par terre, même sur des surfaces un peu sales ou humides. Les poignées sont confortables, et la bandoulière est utile si le sac commence à être lourd. Il est peut-être un peu encombrant si on a juste quelques petits outils, mais pour un usage régulier ou plus sérieux, c’est clairement un bon investissement. En résumé : robuste, pratique, bien pensé. Je le recommande si tu veux un sac qui tient le coup et qui te suit partout sans problème.
